    Abstract: The invention relates to a toothed belt (10a, 10b) with two mutually oppositely arranged running surfaces (2, 4), wherein, on the running surfaces (2, 4), there are arranged toothings (12, 14) arranged obliquely with respect to the axial direction (X), wherein the obliquity is defined in each case by helix angles (16, 18) between the axial direction (X) and the direction of the tooth flanks of the respective toothings (12, 14). It is provided that the helix angle (16) of the first toothing (12) is oriented oppositely to the helix angle (18) of the second toothing (14).
