  • Patent number: 9645574
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for monitoring the condition of rotor blades for wind turbines. It is therefore the object of the invention to increase the accuracy of the monitoring of the condition of rotor blades of wind turbines and to allow a localization of faults or defects and their exact description. In the method in accordance with the invention, eigenvibrations of a rotor blade occurring globally at the rotor blade and locally guided elastic waves are permanently detected with time and spatial resolution using a sensor network and actuator network attached to the rotor blade or using a network arrangement of ultrasound transducers. In addition, elastic waves which are guided periodically at predefinable time intervals and which are respectively emitted by an actuator or ultrasound transducer and detected by sensors or ultrasound transducers are in so doing inspected for variations of the emitted waves.

  • Patent number: 5124267
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the determination of small substance quantities of medicines, of endogenous or other chemical compounds in biological material, characterized by either binding the compound to be determined and its deuterated analog to an antibody present in excess, which antibody is coupled to a stationary phase of a polymeric material, and separating the two compounds from the antibody and measuring by mass spectrometry the proportion of deuterated compound/not deuterated compound or, respectively, cross-reacting compound; or, in case a suitable deuterated or cross-reacting compound is not available, utilizing as the internal standard also a chemically similar compound which, however, is added after the antibody-mediated extraction, and inserting a separating process before mass spectrometry.

  • Patent number: 4794119
Abstract: An aqueous crystalline suspension of a 17-tertiary steroid glycoester contains a compound of Formula I ##STR1## wherein X is two hydrogen atoms or an oxygen atom,Y is two hydrogen atoms or a methylene group,R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl,Z is hydroxy or --O--CO--R.sup.2R.sup.2 is methyl or phenyl, and ##STR2## in the following fractions: 0-30% by weight of a particle size of 3-15 .mu.m,40-90% by weight of a particle size of 15-60 .mu.m, and20-60% by weight of a particle size of 30-100 .mu.m.Upon a one-time intramuscular injection of 30-75 mg of steroid glycoester as an aqueous crystalline suspension, a steroid level is achieved in the plasma which, over a period of 4 weeks, is adequately high and shows a uniform course.
