  • Publication number: 20250202742
Abstract: Methods and techniques are described for increasing the spectral efficiency in wireless transmission and reception. In particular, sequential portions of data are mapped onto respective modulation symbols according to a target modulation, whereby the modulation symbols include a first modulation symbol and a second modulation symbol. First and second combined symbols are generated, which includes obtaining a first and a second linear combination of the first and second modulation symbol, with the first linear combination being different from the second linear combination. The first and second combined symbols are mapped onto a respective first and second carrier and transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20250055584
Abstract: Disclosed is to an algorithm that will increase the performance of detection processes to be performed in next generation communication systems and a method using this algorithm. The algorithm optimizes the detection performance based on the SINK values of the signals sent and reflected by the wireless communication or detection communication devices in the environment and selects the wireless communication or detection device(s) to be used to detect that object.

  • Publication number: 20250044410
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of reducing the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) for signals produced by both systems when radar and communication systems are located on the same hardware. The method has significant potential in improving the performance of the system and reducing hardware costs, especially in autonomous vehicles that use simultaneous radar and communication signals.

  • Patent number: 12021674
Abstract: Methods and techniques are described for reducing PAPR in a system with multiple numerologies. The PAPR is reduced by means of minimization of a cost function including PAPR for some predefined parameters. For example, PAPR may be minimized for phase and/or amplitude and/or time/cyclic shift adjustment to adjust OFDM symbol phase and/or amplitude, or for number and/or type of numerologies to be combined for the transmission.

  • Publication number: 20240073073
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for detecting the numerology types and bands in the received signal without using any control information in the systems using mixed numerology (e.g. 5G standard) and to a signal receiving unit operating according to the method.
