An extend mechanism for providing of advanced call services is executed comprising the steps of detecting call conditions for applying the extend mechanism, inserting of a gateway (eTGW) for providing advanced call services, in a bearer connection of the involved terminations (T1, T2, T3, T4), wherein the gateway is connected with a port of the exchange (EX), routing the bearer to a digital switching device (ACSF) of the exchange (EX) via the inserted gateway (eTGW) and providing the advance call service.
