  • Publication number: 20240107638
Abstract: In a method for determining a target processing state of a cooking product to be treated using a cooking appliance, a set of images of the cooking product in different processing states is provided to a user, with measurement signatures being stored for the images. When the user selects one of the images, the cooking appliance assumes a corresponding one of the measurement signatures associated with the selected image as a target measurement signature.

  • Publication number: 20220065536
Abstract: In a method for operating a cooking appliance, a measurement profile is recorded of a light reflected by a food during a heat treatment cycle. A time instant of a turning point is determined from the measurement profile, and an action is triggered on the basis of the determined time instant of this turning point.

  • Publication number: 20100287711
Abstract: A laundry care device, wherein an operating program is selectively stored in a memory unit, wherein the operating program has operating program parameters, and wherein specific operating values of the operating program parameters are assigned to the stored operating program. The laundry care device includes a user setting element to set an adjustable variable and a control unit to automatically change at least one of the operating program parameters so as to match it to the adjustable variable set by the user setting element. The adjustable variable is an end result to be achieved with the execution of a selected operating program and at least one operating value is automatically altered as a function of the end result.

  • Publication number: 20080271498
Abstract: A drum shell having flow perforations in the rear zone thereof, for exchange of the washing liquid between the interior of the washing drum and the interior of a liquid tank, enclosing the above and, in the operating position for the washing machine, the lower shell line increasingly differs from a horizontal, on rising towards the front. Hollow, long lifting bodies, which are embodied to take liquid amounts from the deepest position thereof and raise the same, on rotation of the washing drum, to a raised position within the washing drum and to release the same from said raised position into the interior of the washing drum, inadequately wet the pieces of washing in the front region. According to the invention, the amount of water discharged in the interior can more effectively be applied to the laundry items, whereby the drum shell has a total surface of flow perforations.

  • Publication number: 20070245776
Abstract: A laundry tub pertaining to a washing machine, said laundry tub comprising a laundry driving system that can be driven from outside the tub by means of a disk-shaped drive element. At least one of the facing surfaces of the tub and the drive element has a surface structure. One such laundry tub presents the risk that the surface structures act like an oscillator in the washing machine, causing disturbing noises during the spinning program. According to the invention, said risk can be at least reduced by providing one of the two surfaces with a cover homogenizing the surface structure.

  • Patent number: 7082793
Abstract: A cylinder washing machine includes a front-loading cylinder, the shell of which is provided with holes and is surrounded by a container. The cylinder washing machine includes a cycle for spin-drying the laundry contained in the cylinder. To prevent water that has already been spun out of the laundry from being transported back to the interior space of the cylinder during spin-drying, precautions are taken to prevent substantially any air from flowing from the container through the interior space of the cylinder and back to the container during spin-drying.
