Abstract: Compositional formulations are provided that comprise at least one tocotrienol or a derivative thereof, in combination with compounds derived from plant extracts. The compositions can be provided in a functionally acceptable carrier, or separately in a combined regimen. In some examples, the compositions can be effective for reducing, preventing or treating medical conditions including, for example, benign tissue growths, pre-cancerous lesions, cancer, inflammations, viral infections, bacterial infections, fungal infections, parasitic infections, impaired bodily function, or cell and tissue damage due to trauma, cell and/or tissue injury from stroke events, cell and/or tissue damage from ischemic events. The mechanism of action for cancer prevention and therapy includes telomerase and/or angiogenesis inhibition.
