  • Patent number: 9992644
Abstract: Methods for appending additional device, location, and/or presence information to a mobile-originated (MO) short message are taught herein. One such method for appending additional device information includes receiving a MO short message at a message center. The MO short message includes a content request. The message center sends a query to a subscriber directory for device information corresponding to the device of the requesting subscriber. The subscriber directory searches for the device information and generates a response to be sent to the message center, the response including the device information. The subscriber directory sends the response to the message center, which appends the device information to the MO short message. The message center then sends the short message to the destination, for example, a content provider. Methods for appending location and/or presence information are also taught.

  • Patent number: 8130668
Abstract: Sharing content among users of mobile devices is facilitated and controlled by a system and method that employs a content sharing application to receive and process requests to share content amongst users of devices such as mobile devices and personal computers. Recipients receive share content messages from the content sharing application. The messages may contain links to shared content. The content sharing application is associated with an application program interface made available to content providers so that they can create user-selectable share content links or options displayed on display descriptions associated with the content. The content sharing application performs device capability checks so that selected recipients do not receive share content messages that contain links to content that is not compatible with their devices.

  • Patent number: 7982321
Abstract: An integrated circuit containing multiple modules coupled to a pad via a multiplexer. The modules are selectively coupled to the pad by the multiplexer to provide integrated circuit function flexibility with a limited number of pads. A multiplexer select signal determines which module or clock circuit is coupled by the multiplexer. A common buffer may be coupled between the multiplexer and the pad to save substrate space. An analog circuit may be coupled to the pad to provide a signal path minimizing signal distortion. The integrated circuit's clock may be coupled via the multiplexer to an off-substrate circuit. Selective module coupling improves the integrated circuit's testing speed, may salvage an integrated circuit containing a malfunctioning module, and provides for signal loopback during testing.

  • Publication number: 20090240971
Abstract: A request from a first processor for access to a shared resource in a computing system is received, and access is provided to the shared resource by the first processor at a first clock frequency. A request from a second processor for access to a shared resource in a computing system is received, and access is provided to the shared resource by the second processor at a second clock frequency that is lower than the first clock frequency.
