  • Patent number: 7104468
Abstract: Disclosed is a personal fan assembly comprising a spray bottle body for storing a liquid and having a nozzle for dispensing the liquid on demand in the form of a spray; and a fan unit releasably attachable to said spray bottle body. The fan unit includes an impeller to create an air stream, and the nozzle is located downstream of the impeller and to one side thereof out of the air stream. The nozzle is oriented at an angle to the air stream so as to direct the spray into the air stream at an angle. The spray bottle body may be in the shape of a U, with the opening in the horseshoe adapted to releasably receive the fan unit. Alternatively, the spray bottle body may be in the form of a water pitcher and the fan unit is mountable in a cylindrical housing within the spray bottle body.

  • Patent number: 6955524
Abstract: A personal fan has a stable mounting base with a bottom surface adapted to lie against the chest of a wearer and a top surface. The stable mounting base is in the form of a weighted shallow robust body having a length and breadth substantially greater than its thicknes. A tiltable shroudless fan unit is mounted on the top surface. A control for the fan is located on the body. A cord is attachable to the body to permit the body to be suspended around the neck of the wearer such that the bottom surface lies snugly against the wearer's chest and the shroudless fan unit can be oriented to direct airflow onto the user's face and the control is accessible to the user.

  • Publication number: 20050121072
Abstract: A portable garden power supply, including a massive body having a base for setting on the ground so that said body maintains a stable position, said body having an appearance resembling a natural garden feature, an inclined solar electricity-producing array exposed on a surface portion of the massive body to generate an electrical current, and a power outlet located on the massive body for providing power from the solar panel to power a small electrical pump or garden accessory.

  • Patent number: 5399299
Abstract: A humidifier comprises a container having an air inlet and an air outlet; a water reservoir in the container; an absorbent mass having extensive upper surface and lower surfaces, the absorbent mass being floatable on the surface of water in the reservoir; a plate disposed on the lower surface of the absorbent mass to limit the degree of immersion of the absorbent mass while it floats in the reservoir; and a blower for drawing air through the air inlet and directing it onto the upper surface of the absorbent mass so that the air can deposit particles thereon, and absorb moisture therefrom, prior to flowing out of the container through the air outlet. The humidifier is highly efficient, quiet in operation and not affected by varying water levels.
