  • Patent number: 11934410
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for planning recurring events is provided. Event objects for events are stored in a database. A trigger notifying the beginning of an event is received and an event object representing the event is generated in response to the trigger. An event class is associated with a set of parameters and is assigned to the event object. A set of activity data is created for the event object and each activity data includes structured and unstructured data describing an event activity occurred during the event. At least one event object is retrieved from the database as a model and the parameter values of the model event object are displayed. At least one of the parameter values of the model event object is modified and the modification is reflected against other parameter values of the model event object that are dependent on the modified parameter value.

  • Publication number: 20180322173
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for performing trend analysis is provided. Event objects for events are stored in a database. A trigger for notifying a beginning of an event is received and an event object representing the event is generated. An event class is associated with a set of parameters and is assigned to the event object. A set of activity data for the event object is created. A time period for trend analysis and previous time periods are defined. Trends among the event objects during the trend analysis time period and among the event objects for the previous time periods are defined. The trends of the event objects of the trend analysis period are compared with the trends of the event objects for the previous time periods and significant trend changes between the compared trends are identified. A trend object is generated for each significant trend change.

  • Publication number: 20050182314
Abstract: A method of inducing tag lines in an MRI image is provided which allows adjustment of tag line width and spacing. The method includes determining a desired tag line width (505) and then selecting a parameter of a SINC modulating function, such as main lobe bandwidth, in accordance with the desired tag line width. The method also includes determining a desired tag line separation (51) and selecting a parameter of an ARF pulse train based upon the desired tag line separation. A gradiant field is applied to the specimen being imaged. The RF pulse train is modulated in accordance with the SINC modulating function (520) and the modulated RF pulse train is applied to the specimen being imaged prior to an image acquisition operation. In one embodiment of the invention, the gradiant is activated between pulses of the RF pulses.

  • Publication number: 20050033151
Abstract: Techniques for reducing the scan time required for the acquisition of two or more magnetic resonance imaging images of a subject having differing contrasts. In one arrangement, a combo acquisition protocol of N sets of parameters is selected prior to imaging. In order to image a subject, a first set of parameter values is selected from the protocol, a first RF pulse and at least one gradient field are used to excite the subject, a refocusing RF pulse and at least one gradient field is applied to the subject, a phase encoding gradient field is applied to the subject, and then a measurement gradient field is applied to the subject simultaneously while an induced signal is measured. The process is repeated to obtain N measurements, which are then processed into two or more reconstructed images of differing contrast, and where some of the measurements are used during the reconstruction of two or more of the images.
