    Abstract: A hubcap theft prevention device which comprises a relatively elongate flexible member attached at one end thereof to a hubcap and attached at the other end thereof to a lug of a lug mounted vehicle wheel. The relatively elongate flexible member is preferably of a length so that the hubcap may be displaced from the vehicle wheel a sufficient distance to provide ready access to the lugs by which the vehicle wheel is mounted on a vehicle.
