  • Publication number: 20160329631
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an active antenna system which is flexibly configurable and efficient in operation. According to a first aspect of the present invention an active antenna system comprises a radio equipment having a plurality of transceiver modules, each transceiver module being connected to at least one antenna, and a radio equipment control unit having a hub being connected to the transceiver modules via an antenna interconnect. The hub is embodied for receiving base band signals via the antenna interconnect from the transceiver modules and to extract channel signals from the received base band signals. As the hub is arranged in the radio equipment control unit which is part of a base station the base band signals are transmitted to the radio equipment control unit without extracting the channel signals. This allows easily to distribute the base band signals on several data connections, particularly several antenna cables, of one antenna interconnect.

  • Patent number: 6229093
Abstract: A mineral-insulated electrical cable has a tubular casing and several metallic conductors running inside the tubular casing and projecting out of it, which are insulated against one another and against the tubular casing. The metal casing has on at least one end a gas-tight seal through which the conductors are passed, and each conductor projecting out of the seal has in connection with the seal and over a part of its length a sheath made of ceramics, glass and/or glass ceramics. In order to improve the resistance of the MI cable to corrosion, each sheath is constructed as a sleeve of the respective conductor with at least one liquid-tight layer in connection with the seal of the tubular casing.

  • Patent number: 4985126
Abstract: A process and apparatus for continuously monitoring of concentrations of gaseous components in gas mixtures, with the exception of O.sub.2. The desired concentration values are obtained simultaneously and separately for the individual gas components, without disruption and with relatively greater accuracy, by a direct path. The concentration of the gaseous component is continuously measured with the aid of at least one electrochemical cell having at least one solid body which contains oxygen-ion-conducting material and a metal-oxide-containing electrode, and generates electrical signals which are a function of the concentration of the component. The measurement signals are electronically and automatically evaluated in a computer which converts them into concentration values. The converted values are compared with reference values of a program which has been programmed into the computer earlier.
