  • Patent number: 5011310
Abstract: An inked ribbon cartridge having a cassette housing, a printing roller in a roller bracket, and a carrier member. The carrier member has an inked ribbon stored on two winding reels that lie parallel to the printing roller, and is separately removable from the cartridge. The cartridge has at least one locking mechanism with an actuation element to both unlock and remove the carrier member from the cassette housing. The carrier member also has a guard member preventing unintentional contact with the ribbon, and through which the printing roller extends.

  • Patent number: 4563956
Abstract: A frictional wheel and a toothed wheel with a pitch diameter less than the diameter of the frictional wheel are secured to a drive shaft of the travelling mechanism. The frictional wheel is comprised of an elastic material and exhibits radial slots for the elastic compensation of the slip caused by the different diameters.

  • Patent number: 4294337
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a brake disc is fixed to a motor shaft and a movable counter disc is withdrawn from the brake disc by an electromagnet against the force of a spring device. The spring device is laid out unsymmetrically in such manner that, in a first phase of the withdrawal, the counter disc is more strongly withdrawn from the brake disc in the area of lower spring forces. The braking system is employed as a parking brake supplementing the standard short circuit braking for transport cars traveling on profile rails and employed for transporting files.

  • Patent number: 4288121
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a bumper with a handle contour is supported on a rotatably mounted lever which is arranged to actuate a switch in response to deflection of the bumper. This lever is coupled with an angle lever via a catch and the angle lever is deflected upon impact against an obstacle situated below the bumper area and, thereby, rotates the lever to actuate the switch. The disclosed arrangement serves for increasing the operational security in smaller transport cars for transporting files and goods of similar weight.

  • Patent number: 4287399
Abstract: In the exemplary embodiments, an actuating element projecting from the basic transport carriage and deflectable by means of the transport container is designed as a tappet which bears against a two-arm lever with a projection; the second arm of the lever lies against a switch control element of a switch device and is under the influence of a second spring force directed against the first spring force and dimensioned smaller than the first spring force. Such switch devices are employed as monitoring switches for a transport car composed of a carriage and a transport container which can be placed thereon.

  • Patent number: 4281864
Abstract: In the closed state, a cover of the transport container strikes against an actuation element and displaces this element in the direction toward a contact device. The actuation stroke of the actuation element is only sufficiently large when a counter bearing of the actuation element is preformed in the direction toward the contact device when a catch which engages in the cover is brought into its final position. The inventive locking device is employed for transport containers which are placed upon an electrically driven traveling device running on rails, wherein the rail lines are laid out in such manner that the traveling device can be driven horizontally and vertically.
