  • Publication number: 20240051783
Abstract: The application relates to a cable drum support for rotatably supporting a cable drum, including a cross beam, on which two holding arms are arranged, which are aligned parallel to one another, wherein each holding arm has a respective laterally protruding and rotatably supported bearing pin on a free end, wherein the bearing pins are arranged aligned with one another on the holding arms so as to face one another and aligned parallel to the cross beam, and wherein at least one of the holding arms is shiftably supported along the cross beam. The cable drum support further including at least one actuatable actuator, which is formed to shift at least the one of the holding arms and/or to apply a torque to at least one bearing pin for rotating about its longitudinal central axis.

  • Publication number: 20230233151
Abstract: A method for detecting a failure of at least one component of a continuous analyte monitoring system is disclosed. The continuous analyte monitoring system has a failure detection resistor and an analyte sensor having at least two measurement electrodes. A constant voltage is applied between the two measurement electrodes and a first response signal is measured. A failure detection signal that is distinguishable from the constant voltage and/or from the first response signal in frequency and/or in height is applied to the continuous monitoring system, and a second response signal to the failure detection signal is measured using the failure detection resistor. Information is determined depending on at least one actual property of the component by evaluating the first response signal and the second response signal. A failure is detected if the information deviates from an expected value by more than a predetermined tolerance.

  • Patent number: 10274430
Abstract: Methods, analytical devices and analytical systems are provided for determining at least one analyte concentration in a body fluid sample. The methods, which may be incorporated into the devices and systems, can include the following steps: applying a body fluid to a test carrier; illuminating the test carrier by at least one light source, where the at least one light source is modulated by using at least two modulation frequencies; receiving light remitted by the test carrier by using at least one detector; determining an analyte concentration by evaluating at least one detector signal generated by the detector, where the detector signal is demodulated with the at least two modulation frequencies to generate at least two demodulated detector signals, each demodulated signal corresponding to one of the modulation frequencies; and detecting a fault by comparing the at least two demodulated detector signals.

  • Publication number: 20060279321
Abstract: The invention proposes a method and a measuring system for testing the function of LCD displays comprising individual display segments, based on the difference in the electrical capacitance Cseg of defective and intact display segments. The method is based on the direct determination of the capacitance of the display segments with a capacitance measuring method by measuring the stored electrical charge. As a preferred measuring method, a method is proposed, in which a charge transfer through a reference capacitor Cref proceeds and the segment capacitance Cseg is determined by means of a charge balance, preferably by means of a ?? conversion.

  • Patent number: 5463467
Abstract: Method of detecting and evaluating analog photometric signals in a test carrier analysis system, and apparatus for carrying out the method. The test field of a test carrier is irradiated by a light source clocked in light-dark phases. The reflected light is detected by a measurement receiver over a measurement period having several light-dark phases, and integrated. An effective suppression of stray and secondary light, which permits measurement even without the hitherto conventional shielding from ambient light, is achieved by a method in which the sequence of the light and dark phases integrated over the measurement period is irregular in such a way that the Fourier-transformed frequency spectrum includes a large number of different frequencies. Each individual frequency therefore makes only a small contribution to the measurement result.
