Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing a foam, comprising a manually compressible container (2) for storing a liquid and air, which container comprises an opening (3), a rigid housing (4, 5) to be fitted in or on the opening, the housing comprising an air passage (11, 12) and a liquid passage (9), which are in communication with a dispensing passage (14) which ends in a dispensing opening (8), and a valve body (6) which, in a rest position, covers a mouth of the liquid passage and a mouth of the air passage (10) in a sealing manner in order to prevent a flow from the liquid passage and the air passage to the dispensing passage, and which, during dispensing, opens the mouth of the liquid passage and the mouth of the air passage in order to allow mixing of air and liquid to take place in the dispensing passage.

Abstract: A dispensing assembly (1) has a first (10) and second dispensing unit (20), each of which first and second dispensing units has a reservoir for accommodating a liquid substance as well as a manually operable first and second pump (12, 22), respectively, attached to the reservoir. The dispensing assembly furthermore has a pump operating button assembly for jointly operating the first and second pump, the first pump connecting to a first dispensing duct in the pump operating button assembly (2A, 2B) and the second pump connecting to a second dispensing duct in the pump operating button assembly. The pump operating button assembly has at least one dispensing nozzle which is in communication with at least one dispensing duct in tie pump operating button assembly (2A, 2B) for dispensing one or more dispensing products based on the substances emanating from the first and second dispensing units.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing a liquid, in particular in foam form, comprising at least one piston pump having a cylinder (6) and a piston (8) which can move inside the cylinder (6), the piston comprising a piston seal, by means of which the piston adjoins the cylinder in a substantially sealing manner. The invention is characterized in that the dispensing device is provided with a lubricant reservoir (17) for dispensing a lubricant in order for the area where the piston seal adjoins the cylinder to be lubricated in use.

Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing device for dispensing a liquid, in particular in the form of a foam, at least comprising a liquid container and a dispensing assembly, the dispensing assembly comprising a liquid pump (4) and an actuating head (10). The actuating head comprises a discharge duct (12) and a dispensing opening for dispensing the liquid, and a circular protective cap (14), which protective cap can be guided into a space which is formed between a protective inner wall (29)and a protective outer wall (30) the dispensing assembly. One or more discharge openings (31) are provided near the bottom of the space which discharge to the outside. According to a first aspect of the invention, the one or more discharge openings discharge over a section (30A) of at most 180 degrees, preferably at most 90 degrees, of the periphery of the dispensing device.

The dispensing assembly includes a liquid pump and an actuating head, the actuating head having a closed, circumferential protective cap. The aerosol furthermore includes a circumferential recess, into which the protective cap can move, which recess includes a closed inner wall, an outer wall and a base, and one or more outlet openings are present in the vicinity of the base of the recess, wherein the shape of the recess is such that the inner wall, on the side which is remote from the base, is at a radial distance p from the protective cap, which distance p is greater than the usual clearance distance of the protective cap with respect to the inner wall.

Abstract: A spray head is intended for attachment to a spray can having a pressure container, a control valve and an outflow channel for dispensing material, such as shaving gel, which expands after dispensing. The spray head has a flow channel that receives a biassed valve near the spray head outlet. A material expansion absorption arrangement is in communication with flow channel and interacts with a control part that controls spray head operation. The threshold pressure of the biassed valve is higher than the threshold pressure needed for operating the material expansion absorption arrangement. After dispensing a quantity of material, the material expansion absorption arrangement can absorb expanding residual material so that on subsequent use, the material expansion absorption arrangement is returned first to the initial position before the control valve of the spray can is opened. A spray can with such a spray head is also described.
