  • Patent number: 11699225
Abstract: The tire sensing and analysis system may comprise a measurement device and local application software. The measurement device may make contact with a tire of a vehicle such that the measurement device is positioned at a specific distance and orientation relative to the tire. The measurement device may capture multiple images of the tire using an RGB camera and a pair of infrared cameras. The local application software may analyze the images and may construct a 3D mesh describing the 3-dimensional contours of the tread. The local application software may determine a tread depth and may display status and warning messages on a display unit that is coupled to the measurement device. The measurements may be communicated to remote application software for additional analysis. As non-limiting examples, the remote application software may detect specific tire wear patterns and may transmit a report to share results of the analysis.

  • Patent number: 11087132
Abstract: A system uses an optical sensor and an image processing apparatus to map emerged plants in a field. The optical sensor collects at least one image of a field of emerged plants. The image processing apparatus analyzes the image to detect areas of vegetation and creates a vegetation map indicative of the detected areas. The image processing element then analyzes the vegetation map to identify emerged plants within the image and creates at least map indicating locations of the emerged plants in the field. Such map may be used to make efficient crop management decisions based on the actual layout of emerged plants in the field.

  • Patent number: 10836043
Abstract: The invention includes a method of testing a mobile device with a robotic testing device having a holder, a first motor operatively connected to a first robotic implement, and a second motor operatively connected to a second robotic implement. The method includes securing, via the holder, the mobile device to the robotic testing device; actuating, via the first motor, the first robotic implement to contact the mobile device at a first location at a first time; actuating, via the second motor, the second robotic implement to contact the mobile device at a second location at a second time; and recording, via a data processor of the robotic testing device, a response of the mobile device in memory of the robotic testing device. The robotic testing device includes a pressure feedback sensor configured to sense a pressure of one or more of the robotic implements while interacting with the mobile device.
