Abstract: The present invention refers to a non-collapsible and non-foldable container for lyophilization of a product, said container comprising: a) a plastic tray comprising a bottom wall, a continuous peripheral side wall defining an opening, and a continuous circumferential rim which is outwardly bulged; b) a top wall for completely covering said opening, which top wall is comprising a membrane which membrane is vapour-permeable and provides a bacterial barrier; c) a removable impermeable snap-on lid for completely covering said top wall and said membrane. The container of the present invention is used for lyophilization of products and is easy to handle and provides a suitable shape for heat transfer during the lyophilization process. Further, the inventive container provides means for easy handling of opening and closing the membrane area before starting the lyophilization process, and also provides means for easy and reliable sealing after the lyophilization process, thereby protecting the membrane.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hemostatic sponge based on collagen and an activator or proactivator of blood coagulation homogeneously distributed therein, which is dried and contains a water content of at least 2%, preferably in the range of 2 to 25%, more preferred 10 to 20%, and a method for producing this sponge.

Abstract: The invention relates to a fibrin sponge comprising a residual moisture content of at least 3%, preferably of 3 to 35%, in particular 10 to 20%, and preferably containing a blood clotting activator or proactivator, a method of preparing this fibrin sponge as well as a kit for wound gluing which comprises the fibrin sponge and a component containing a blood clotting factor. The sponge according to the present invention is suitable for hemostasis, tissue adhesion and aiding wound healing.
