    Abstract: The present invention relates to a multilayer film for producing label material, comprising two outer layers (1, 5) of low-density polyethylene, a core layer (3) of highly crystalline polypropylene or of a blend with up to 20% of low-density polyethylene, and adhesion-promoting layers (2, 4) of polypropylene, wherein the adhesion-promoting layers contain 5-30% of ULDPE (d ≦0.9), 0-25% of LDPE and 20-95% of a random copolymer of polypropylene with a 1-alkylene having 4-20 carbon atoms, and to a process for producing such films.
