  • Patent number: 6511379
Abstract: From a chamber (18), which can be supplied by a pressure greasing unit (16), there extend several branched channels (20; 22) which reach the points where the lubricant is to be supplied; a passage with a very small cross section (30, 32) is created between said chamber (18) and each branched channel (20, 22) so that a high pressure is reached inside said chamber (18) and—with injection through the grease nipple (16)—a metered supply of lubricant through each of said passages is thus obtained.

  • Patent number: 6238295
Abstract: The splined shaft is locked in the splined seat of the fork by means of a push-button immobilizing element (31) designed to engage tangentially in the said annular recess; the immobilizing element (31) is accommodated in a housing (29) formed in the base (23) of the fork and is stressed elastically by a spring (33) in the immobilizing position, in which it projects, so that it can be pressed manually in order to unlock it; around the said housing (29), the base (23) of the fork has an enlarged portion (27) in which a cavity (37) is formed, within which the push-button (31A) of the immobilizing element projects when it is in the immobilizing position, while still remaining enclosed within the said cavity (37).

  • Patent number: 5173082
Abstract: The protective casing includes a system of telescopic tubes (26 and 27) that cover a pair of telescopic tubular elements (13 and 14) connecting two universal joints (9 and 11) on a transmission shaft. The inner telescopic tube (26) is fitted with a grease nipple (35) that is connected via a tube (39) to a chamber formed by a bushing (41) and a sealing ring (63). A suitable lubricant can be injected into the chamber, from the exterior, via the grease nipple (35), so that the telescopic tubular elements (13 and 14) can be kept lubricated without this requiring the transmission being uncoupled.
