Abstract: An apparatus for the containment of food items and for the optional transport of various types of beverage containers includes a bottom panel, a first side panel, a second side panel, a third side panel, a fourth side panel, a first top panel, a second top panel, a third top panel, and a fourth top panel that are formed of a single sheet of stock and which, when folded along predetermined crease lines, cooperate to provide a serving tray for the retention of the food items in an interior portion and, if desired, a soda can or other beverage container or object in the interior portion and, if desired, a tapered beverage container can be secured to the apparatus at an exterior location. The apparatus is able to secure certain types of beverage containers thereto while still providing a covering over the food items that are disposed in the interior portion.

Abstract: An apparatus for containing a food and beverage includes a substantially flat stock, for example, cardboard or fiberboard that is folded into a three-dimensional apparatus. When formed, the apparatus includes a first compartment for holding a food and a beverage extension section adapted for holding a beverage. Certain of the sections include panels that interlock. A reinforcing member is provided to add strength to the beverage extension portion. A pair of thumbholes are provided in two of the sections and a pair of slots are provided for securing a pair of eating utensils, for example, a fork and spoon. The unused thumbhole is adapted to receive a napkin.

Abstract: An apparatus for containing a food and beverage includes a substantially flat stock, for example, cardboard or fiberboard that includes a plurality of perimeter panels that are folded into a three-dimensional apparatus. When formed, the apparatus includes a compartment for holding a food and a beverage. A beverage retaining member attaches in any of a variety of ways where desired to any of the panels to secure various sizes of beverage containers in an upright position on top of a center panel. The outer perimeter panels are each attached on one edge thereof to the center panel and interlock with each other during assembly to prevent accidental opening of the apparatus. A notch is provided to accept a thumb of a user and a semi-spherical opening is provided to receive a napkin or utensil.

Abstract: An apparatus for use with a paper plate includes a section of overlap that is attached to a portion of the rim of the paper plate and an extended portion that is generally disposed on the same plane as the rim and which extends beyond the original size of the plate. The extended portion includes a circular cutout for receiving a beverage container therein. The extended portion includes a pair of beverage support members that are adapted to pivot beneath the circular cutout. A third beverage support member is pivotally attached at a lower end of each of the pair of beverage support members and, when disposed under the circular cutout, forms a shelf to support the beverage container. A modified apparatus is formed as an integral part of the plate.
