  • Publication number: 20100174265
Abstract: Polymer composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer including styrene and isoprene and/or vinylisoprene units (SI) and a syndiotactic polypropylene (s-PP).
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 7, 2009
    Publication date: July 8, 2010

  • Patent number: 6258862
Abstract: A composition including, by weight: from 40 to 80% of at least one uncrosslinked composition (A) including at least one polyolefin (PA); from 60 to 20% of at least one crosslinked composition (B) including at least one propylene polymer (PB) and at least one ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer. The composition B has preferably been obtained beforehand by processing a composition including from 10 to 49% of at least one propylene polymer (PB), from 90 to 51% by weight of at least one ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and from 100 to 1500 ppm by weight of at least one crosslinking agent. This composition makes it possible especially to manufacture foam sheets which can be employed in the motor vehicle industry, which are thermoformable, HF weldable and recyclable.

  • Patent number: 6100335
Abstract: Compositions based on propylene polymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and organic peroxide, characterized in that they include, by weight:a) 10 to 49% of at least one propylene polymer;b) 90 to 51% of at least one ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer in which the vinyl acetate content is from 12 to 40% by weight;c) between 50 and 1000 ppm (parts per million) of at least one organic peroxide. The sheets obtained by extrusion of these compositions can be employed for the internal trim in the motor vehicle industry.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 8, 2000
    Assignee: Solvay (Societe Anonyme)
    Inventors: Pierre Matz, Edmond Mulkens
  • Patent number: 5164432
Abstract: Moulding compositions comprising a polyolefin, cellulose fibres and an unsaturated organosilane exhibiting a tensile elasticity modulus (E), measured at 100.degree. C., higher than 1250 MPa and a ratio G'/G" of their modulus G', representing their elastic response, to their loss modulus G", measured at 200.degree. C. and at a frequency of 0.1 rad/s (0.1 s.sup.-1), with a value of at least 0.80.
