  • Publication number: 20230281553
Abstract: In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a method including: receiving a network request from a computing device, the network request including a company identifier, an estimated time of arrival (ETA), and a location of interest (LOI); computing a first score based on an actual ETA of at least one vehicle associated with the company identifier; computing a second score based on an hours of service value associated with a driver of the at least one vehicle; computing a third score based on a direction of the at least one vehicle; and aggregating the first, second, and third score to generate a total matching score.

  • Patent number: 6911818
Abstract: A method for evaluating measuring signals of an electromagnetic field is disclosed which is in interaction with an electrically conductive fluid for detecting components in the fluid which differ from the electric conductivity of the fluid, with the measuring signals being divided into at least two channels and being evaluated in order to detect different distributions and concentrations in the fluid.

  • Patent number: 5426983
Abstract: A contact free flow meter for determining the velocities and/or flow directions of electrically-conductive fluids is disclosed. At least one primary magnetic field is arrayed generally perpendicular to the flow path, the field having strength gradients extending along the flow path. At least two magnetic field sensors are spaced apart in the direction of the flow path the sensor being responsive to the magnetic field. The device is capable of functioning notwithstanding electrically-conductive material such as pipe walls interposed between the fluid and the meter.

  • Patent number: 4887798
Abstract: A device for detecting slag flowing with a stream of molten metal dischar through an outlet opening in a metallurgical vessel includes a sensor positioned in the area of a base plate of the vessel to surround the stream of molten metal without being contacted thereby. The sensor has a sending coil and a receiving coil associated with a reference coil. At least the sending and receiving coils are positioned within a housing formed of a non-magnetic material. The housing encompasses the coils and defines therearound a protective casing that alters electromagnetic fields emanating from the base plate and the stream of molten metal and that is resistant to mechanical stresses.

  • Patent number: 4816758
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for the detection of slag co-flowing within a sam of molten steel being poured from metallurgical vessel, more particularly during continuous casting, makes it possible to detect even a small quantity of slag in the emerging flow of molten metal without requiring the removal of the shielding for the pouring stream, or without interfering with the pouring, by measuring changes in the electrical conductivity of the pouring system by means of electromagnetic fields. To this end, one or more transmitter coils and receiver coils are mounted fixedly around the pouring stream. The transmitter coils are fed with a current containing several frequencies, and the magnitude and phase position of the voltage induced in the receiver coils are evaluated frequency-selectively so as to increase the sensitivity, the measuring transducer being operated in a bridge circuit.
