Abstract: This silencer (10) for a motor vehicle exhaust line of the type comprising: a casing (12) internally delimiting an exhaust volume; an exhaust gas inlet (16) opening into the exhaust volume; and an exhaust gas outlet pipe (18) communicating with the exhaust volume and having an outlet orifice (30) to the outside of the silencer (10), is characterized in that the outlet pipe (18) comprises a section (32) pressed against the casing (12), the casing (12) having at least one perforation placing the pressed section (32) in communication with the exhaust volume.

Abstract: An exhaust line of a motor vehicle includes a heat exchanger having a first side for circulating the exhaust gases and a second side for circulating a heat exchange fluid, and a closed recovery cycle for one portion of the heat energy of the exhaust gases, in which said heat exchange fluid circulates, wherein the second side of the heat exchanger is inserted inside the closed cycle. The heat exchanger includes an intermediate wall interposed between the first and second sides of the heat exchanger. The intermediate wall comprises at least one closed cavity including a phase change material. The intermediate wall has a first exchange surface in thermal contact with the exhaust gases and a second exchange surface in thermal contact with the heat exchange fluid.

Abstract: This exhaust manifold (12) includes: an outer casing (18) includes: an outer shell (22); a flange (24) which is welded to the outer shell (22) and which has a surface (24B) for abutment against an engine cylinder head and at least one aperture (28) which opens at the abutment surface (24A), at least one inner channel (20) which is arranged in the outer casing (18) and which opens via an aperture (28). The or each inner channel (20) is formed from a ceramic material; and extends from one side to the other of the flange (24) through the or each aperture (28) and comprises a continuation (32) outside the outer casing (18) which extends outwards beyond the abutment surface (24A).

The invention is characterised in that: each internal conduit (20) is formed from a ceramic material; and each internal conduit (20) extends through the flange (24) by means of each hole (28) and comprises an extension (32) that extends outside the outer casing (18) towards the exterior and beyond the support surface (24A).
