Patents by Inventor Edouard Rozan

Edouard Rozan has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20110177839
Abstract: A novel geometry, the geometry of Space-Filling Curves (SFC) is defined in the present invention and it is used to shape a part of an antenna. By means of this novel technique, the size of the antenna can be reduced with respect to prior art, or alternatively, given a fixed size the antenna can operate at a lower frequency with respect to a conventional antenna of the same size.
    Type: Application
    Filed: March 9, 2011
    Publication date: July 21, 2011
    Applicant: FRACTUS, S.A.
Inventors: CARLES PUENTE BALIARDA, LOUIS JEAN EDOUARD ROZAN, JAIME ANGUERA PROS
  • Patent number: 7511675
Abstract: An integrated multi-service antenna system for a motor vehicle includes a plurality of antenna structures integrated within a physical component of the motor vehicle. The plurality of antenna structures includes a radio antenna and at least one of a cellular telephony antenna and a satellite-signal antenna. The radio antenna has a radiating arm, with at least a portion of the radiating arm defining a space-filling curve, the radio antenna further has a feeding point for coupling the radio antenna to a radio receiver in the motor vehicle.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 24, 2003
Date of Patent: March 31, 2009
    Assignee: Advanced Automotive Antennas, S.L.
Inventors: Carles Puente-Baliarda, Edouard Rozan, Jaume Anguera-Pros, Enrique Martinez-Ortigosa
  • Publication number: 20080011509
Abstract: A high frequency electromagnetic circuit is disclosed as being patterned on a metallic or superconducting film on top of a dielectric in a plurality of configurations. A part of the circuit such as the characteristic strip or slot of the configurations is shaped in a novel space-filling geometry which allows a significant size reduction of a circuital component. Miniature transmission lines, capacitors, inductors, resistors, filters, and oscillators can be manufactured this way.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 22, 2007
    Publication date: January 17, 2008
Inventors: Carles Baliarda, Juan O'Callaghan Castella, Edouard Rozan, Juan Collado Gomez, Nuria Duffo Ubeda
