  • Patent number: 9731883
Abstract: A container containing a substance, comprises a preformed deformable body defining a filling cavity. The body has an opening and an integral planar circumferential rim surrounding said opening. The opening is closed by a cover sheet which is sealed to the circumferential rim by means of a circumferential sealing seam, wherein the circumferential rim has a dispensing part which is covered by the cover sheet. The cover sheet is sealed to the dispensing part by at least one rupturable sealing seam and outlet seams defining an outlet passage from the rupturable sealing seam towards a dispensing edge of the dispensing part of the circumferential rim, such that, when the rupturable sealing seam is broken, the substance is allowed to flow through the outlet passage between the surface of the dispensing part and the cover sheet towards the dispensing edge of the dispensing part.

  • Patent number: 9676538
Abstract: The invention proposes to dispense a substance from a container filled with a single portion of a substance. The container comprises a preformed deformable body defining a filling cavity which body has an opening and an integral planar circumferential rim surrounding said opening. The opening is closed by a cover sheet which is sealed to the circumferential rim by a circumferential sealing seam. The circumferential rim has a dispensing part which is covered by the cover sheet. A dispensing passage is formed between the dispensing part and the cover sheet. At the location of the dispensing passage is provided a weakened sealing seam portion, such that upon pressurizing the content of the container, the weakened sealing seam portion breaks and substance flows out of the container through the dispensing passage. The dispensing part is flat and the dispensing passage for the substance is defined by the cover sheet sealed to the flat dispensing part by at least two outwardly directed sealing seams.

  • Patent number: 8784915
Abstract: The invention proposes to dispense a substance from a container filled with a single portion of a substance. The container comprises a preformed deformable body, preferably made of sheet material, defining a filling cavity which body has an opening and an integral planar circumferential rim surrounding said opening, which opening is closed by a cover sheet which is sealed to the circumferential rim by means of a circumferential sealing seam. The container with the substance is opened by making use of the deformability of the cover sheet. A support surface supports the cover sheet except at the position of a recess. The recess is positioned at least over a part of the circumferential sealing seam. Upon compression of the container body the substance is pressurized and the cover sheet bulges out into the recess such that the sealing seam is broken at the location where the bulge is formed resulting in the container being open.

  • Publication number: 20080210408
Abstract: The invention relates to dispensing of a carbonised fluid. In particular the invention relates to a fluid cooling system comprising a cooling tank (2) filled with a heat transfer medium and comprising an evaporator conduit (8) positioned within the cooling tank (2) for withdrawing heat from the heat transfer medium. The coolings system has a primary cooling conduit (12) arranged in the cooling tank (2). A carbonator vessel (11) is provided for carbonating fluid, the carbonator vessel (11) is connected to the primary cooling conduit (12) and has an outlet for carbonated fluid. The cooling system comprises a secondary cooling conduit (13) which is connected to the outlet of the carbonator vessel (11) and is adapted to cool the carbonated water flowing out from the carbonator vessel (11). The secondary cooling conduit is connected to dispensing means of carbonated water. This additional cooling ensures a better retaining of CO2 in the carbonised fluid.
