  • Publication number: 20230211102
Abstract: A tracheostoma device holder (10) for holding a tracheostoma device to a tracheostoma of a person is provided. The tracheostoma device holder (10) comprises a head portion (50) for engaging with a tracheostoma device and a fixation portion (20) for fixating the tracheostoma device holder (10) to the tracheostoma of the person. At least a portion of the fixation portion (20) is provided with a deformable material (60).

  • Patent number: 9687277
Abstract: An implantation system for treatment of a defective curvature of the spinal column comprises an elongated element, a first bone fixation element being fixedly attached to said elongated element, a second bone fixation element, and guiding structure through which the second bone fixation element is slidably and contactingly connected to the elongated element. The elongated element has bending resilience and/or torsional resilience for applying corrective force action to the spinal column. A special arrangement of the guiding structure provides automatical adjustment of the corrective force action in dependence of growth of the spinal column. The system allows for good flexibility of the spine and for a natural healthy growth of the spine, while it avoids re-operations and implant adjustments.

  • Publication number: 20100145238
Abstract: The invention relates to an orthesis for controlling the angle of a limb relative to a second body part to which the limb is connected via a joint such as a hip, elbow or shoulder, which orthesis comprises:—a first arm rotatably, around a rotation point, connected to the second body part;—a second arm fixedly arranged to the lim; and—guide means for providing at least a two dimensional free translation of the second arm relative to the first arm, while maintaining both arms parallel.

  • Publication number: 20040243253
Abstract: A prosthesis or orthesis for a member of a human body, comprising limb-forming components which components are connected by pivoting couplings and at least one first element whose ends are coupled with components that are distinguishable from each other, wherein the first spring element spans at least two pivoting couplings.

  • Patent number: 6200317
Abstract: A device for moving a first object relative to a second object, which device comprises a first part, which can be fixed to the first object, and a second part, which can be fixed to the second object. The first part comprises an elongated portion, along which the second part can move, which second part is provided with a clamping member, which is capable of clampingly engaging the elongated portion. The clamping member comprises shape memory metal, which gives the clamping member a clamping shape or a releasing (non-clamping) shape, depending on the temperature of the shape memory metal. The device may be suitable for being implanted into a human or animal body, whereby the first object is a first bone portion and the second object is a second bone portion, which bone portions are to be moved relative to each other.
