    Abstract: Fishing pliers that enable the user to conveniently extend fishing line into the eyelet of a fishing lure, the fishing pliers comprise a pair of opposing first and second elongate members connected at a pivot, the elongate members capable of moving between an open position and a closed position. The first elongate member has an intermediate section that has a magnet and is configured such that an interchangeable modular platform can be mounted thereon with the magnet adjacent a slot of the platform. The interchangeable modular platform is configured to receive fishing line. The magnetized slot is configured to receive an eyelet of a fishing lure. The slot is capable of orienting the eyelet so that line can conveniently enter the eyelet after passing through a channel of the platform.
