  • Patent number: 7002813
Abstract: An arrangement which has a panel-like electrical/electronic module, such as a solar power module, and a connection unit which are electrically connected to one another. The module and the connection unit each have an essentially flat printed conductor structure with connecting sections. The printed conductor structures are situated in parallel planes. The connecting sections are rigid electrical conductor sections and are bent out from the planes of the printed conductor structures of the connection unit and the module. The connecting sections of the connection unit are situated corresponding to the arrangement of the connecting sections of the module so that for the connection unit connected to the module each connecting section of the module is electrically connected to a respective connecting section of the connection unit and these adjoin one another in one section situated in a different spatial position than that of the planes of the printed conductor structures.

  • Publication number: 20040006691
Abstract: A keyless authorized access control system includes object modules and an identification device. The identification device has a microprocessor and memory. The identification device and the object modules have respective communications links between them for communicating encoded data. The data is encoded using an encryption algorithm that is used to perform a symmetric encryption method which uses an encryption parameter respectively assigned to the object module. The memory of each identification device stores different encryption algorithms. The microprocessor of an identification device selects one of the stored encryption algorithms to be used for encoding the data to be communicated between the identification device and an object module. Instead of the identification device, one of the object modules may have the memory and selects one of the stored encryption algorithms to be used by the identification device for encoding the data communicated by the identification device and an object module.

  • Patent number: 5872436
Abstract: A system for monitoring and controlling the opening and closing of an electrically driven device, such as a window or a sliding roof of an automobile, contains various mechanical components and is equipped with an electrical servo motor which can be controlled by operating elements and a sensor device which are connected to an electronic control unit that processes signals under safety aspects and to which a power semiconductor is connected. To minimize the forces exercised on any trapped object, the rating of the servo motor is controlled by the power semiconductor so that the regulating speed of a servotransmission of the device can be adjusted during its adjustment range in dependence on specified positions of the device.

  • Patent number: 4468596
Abstract: A method and apparatus for operating and monitoring the opening and closing cycle of electrically operated units such as electric windows and electric slide roofs which both eliminates the danger of body parts getting caught in the window and permits a complete opening and closing of the window automatically. In accordance with the invention, the speed of the drive motor is measured, directly or indirectly, and the first obtained measured value is compared with all following measured values. More particularly, this first measured value is used to detect momentary electrical and mechanical factors which change over the entire time of operation of the window, such as self-heating of the drive motor, the voltage charge of the battery, and the state and condition of the window. The processing or comparing of the measured values is carried out by a microcomputer. The actual measuring of the speed is by means of a sensor. The changes furnished by those sensors are utilized to determine the position of the window.

  • Patent number: 4404939
Abstract: An electrical circuit for controlling the operating of the relay of a fuel pump depending on the number of revolutions of the motor supplied by the fuel pump, whereby the fuel pump is cut off if the minimally permissible time interval being ignition pulses falls short, i.e., the number of revolutions of the motor exceeds an established value.

  • Patent number: 4354155
Abstract: Circuit arrangement for monitoring an electricity-consuming load fed with direct current one terminal of which is grounded, particularly for monitoring an incandescent of an automotive vehicle, and the circuit arrangement being installable without interfering with the existing network of lines or cutting conductors. Between the switch of the load and the current-consuming device a measurement coil is arranged parallel to a conductor within the magnetic field produced by the flow of electricity through the conductor, the input of the coil being connected to a voltage supply source and its output being connected in a Schmitt trigger circuit with the non-inverting input of a differential amplifier constituted as operational amplifier and the output of the amplifier being fed back via a resistor to the non-inverting input and being connected to a fault indicator.

  • Patent number: 4353126
Abstract: A method for the coded data transmission in half-duplex operation between data terminal devices of two data stations employs a code device of the one data station to transmit a phase-in program to the code device of the other data station. Thereby, the code devices of the two data stations communicate via corresponding data transmission devices in full-duplex operation. After phase-in of crypto units of the two data stations in one direction, change of direction programs, data and end identifications are transmitted, and in the opposite direction, simultaneously, synchronizing signals are transmitted.
