  • Publication number: 20220401944
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for unblocking pores in a metal zeolite based selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst. The method includes filling, at least partially, the SCR catalyst with a liquid, the liquid being preferably distilled water. The method includes letting said liquid inside the SCR catalyst enough time to allow said liquid to dissolve, at least partially, the obstructions and to penetrate into the pores. The method includes heating the SCR catalyst at a temperature above the ebullition temperature of the liquid so as to vaporize the part of the liquid remained into the pores, and generate steam flows through the obstructions, the steam flows removing the obstructions and unblocking the pores, wherein no hydrocarbons are injected during the step of heating.

  • Patent number: 10837335
Abstract: Disclosed is a reactive filter, that is a selective catalytic reduction filter or an oxidative reaction filter, including a porous substrate including internal pores having their inner surface, totally or partially, directly coated with a catalytic zeolite material resulting from an in situ hydrothermal synthesis. Also disclosed is a process for preparing such a reactive filter and the use thereof in an engine exhaust depolluting system.

  • Patent number: 9850795
Abstract: A process is provided for regenerating an exhaust gas after-treatment device in an exhaust line of an internal combustion engine arrangement, the exhaust line including a particle filter. The process includes identifying when soot loading of the particle filter exceeds a predetermined level. After that, temperature of exhaust gases at the particle filter is maintained within a first temperature range until at least one of a predetermined period of time has lapsed or a determination is made that soot loading of the particle filter is below the predetermined level. After that, the temperature of the exhaust gases at the particle filter is increased to within a second temperature range above the first temperature range. An internal combustion engine arrangement is also disclosed.
