  • Patent number: 7458372
Abstract: The invention relates to an inhalation therapy device including a membrane aerosol generator. A detection device is provided for determining whether a liquid to be atomized is available. In the absence of liquid, the activation of the membrane aerosol generator is interrupted and/or a signal is output.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 30, 2003
Date of Patent: December 2, 2008
    Assignee: PARI Pharma GmbH
Inventors: Franz Feiner, Markus Borgschulte, Wolfgang Achtzehner, Eduard Kunschir, Joseph Lass
  • Patent number: 7252085
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for inhalation therapy. Said device comprises an aerosol-producing device for spraying a liquid (3), preferably comprising a membrane (1), a support unit (6), an electromechanical transducer unit (7), and a connecting device (8,9) for supplying an oscillation control signal. The inventive device also comprises a control device (10) from which an oscillation control signal can be supplied to the connecting device of the aerosol-producing device, such that the aerosol-producing device sprays the liquid. Another control signal is supplied to the aerosol-producing device (1,6,7), moving the membrane (1) in oscillation in an audible frequency range, thus causing the emission of audible signals for a user.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 26, 2004
Date of Patent: August 7, 2007
Assignee: Pari GmbH Spezialisten fur Effektive Inhalation
    Inventor: Eduard Kunschir
  • Publication number: 20060254578
Abstract: The inhalation therapy device comprises a nebulising nozzle 1, to which compressed air 6 can be supplied for nebulising a liquid 5, a compressor 8 having an electromotive drive 8b for generating the compressed air supplied to the nebulising nozzle, and an electric energy store 9 for providing electric energy for the electromotive drive 8b of the compressor 8. The electric energy store 9 thereby comprises a stabilising device 9b that ensures a constant output voltage of the energy store 9.
