Abstract: A novel, pervasive approach to disseminating live streaming content combines secure distributed systems, WiFi multicast, erasure coding, source coding and opportunistic offloading using hyperlocal mobile edge clouds. The solution disclosed to the technical problem of disseminating live streaming content without requiring a substantial equipment, planning and deployment of appropriate network infrastructure points offers an 11 fold reduction on the infrastructural WiFi bandwidth usage without having to modify any existing software or firmware stacks while ensuring stream integrity, authorization and authentication.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for driving multiple user interfaces using a backend view controller. A view interface system that is capable of displaying multiple user interfaces of different view formats may receive a data set request to display a data set in a particular view format. The view interface system may then transmit, to the backend view controller, the data set request and receive an indication that the data set is exposed by the backend view controller. Based on the indication, the view interface system may perform data binding of the data set to interface objects associated with the view format to form a user interface based on the view format and display the user interface.

When displaying a scene including transformed data, a data orchestration system may receive a change to the data source from the data repository or a client viewing the data. Abstract: A system and method for measuring sound is described. In one embodiment frequency-banded-noise samples, which collectively cover at least a portion of a spectrum, are sequentially generated at different points in time, and a baseline sound-pressure-level reading for each of the frequency banded noise samples is received. Using data received from a microphone, a sound pressure level reading is generated for each of the frequency banded noise samples. Calibration data is then produced for the microphone as a function of a difference between each of the baseline sound-pressure-level readings and a corresponding one of each of the generated sound pressure level readings for each of the frequency banded noise samples.

Abstract: A peripheral die assembly for use in an extrusion process is disclosed. The peripheral die assembly includes a cylindrical-shaped hollow die sleeve defining an interior area in communication with a proximal opening and a distal opening as well as a plurality of outlets for permitting egress of extrusion from the peripheral die assembly. A die insert controls the flow of extrusion that enters the die sleeve and is engaged to an end plate through the interior area of the die sleeve. The die insert includes a circular-shaped base with a cone portion that extends outwardly from the proximal opening of the die sleeve and a plurality of raised flow diverters spaced circumferentially along the base. A flow pathway is defined between adjacent flow diverters with one end of the flow pathway in communication with the cone portion and the opposite end in communication with a respective outlet.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a plant material of the species Trichilia sp., alone or in association with one or more of the following plants: Paullinia cupana (Sapindaceae), Croton moritibensis (Euphorbiaceae) and Zingiber officinale (Zingiberaceae) in the treatment, reversion, combat and/or prevention of ventricular fibrillation. A product particularly embraced by the present invention comprises the plant material of the species Trichilia sp., alone or in association with extracts from other plants. The invention also refers to the use of one or more fractions of plant extract from such plant material, particularly of Trichilia catigua A. Juss, and of one or more subfractions of said fractions in the treatment, combat, prevention and/or reversion of ventricular fibrillation.
