Abstract: It is applied in those processes in which it is required to modify the configuration of a first piece (1) for which, when joined to a second piece (2), for carrying out different tests, as is the case of measurements of aerodynamic properties of objects in a wind tunnel, it is required to modify the first piece, which implies modifying the coupling part of the second piece (2) on the first piece (1). The invention avoids manufacturing the complete second piece (2) with each new design of the first piece (1), for which the latter is designed and manufactured with a fixed configuration, valid for any possible configuration (1a, 1b) of the first piece (1) and which lacks the coupling part (3) with the first piece (1) in such a way that a third piece (3) is designed and manufactured corresponding to the coupling part between the configuration (1a, 1b) of the first piece (1) and the second piece (2) for carrying out the joint between both, with each design of the first piece.

Abstract: The dummy elements (1) are pieces which are backed on to the object to test for measurement of aerodynamic properties. Once the geometry is known that the dummy element has to have on account of flight conditions, atmospheric conditions and the original aerodynamic surface, the shape of the dummy element (1) is reproduced by stereolithography, at the same time forming certain extensions (4) which follow the aerodynamic geometry of the object (3) and which are located in strategically selected positions, the whole acting by way of a negative template which is restricted to and follows the shapes of the leading edge. An adhesive is then applied to the surface of the dummy element (1) without it affecting the extensions (4) since they then have to be removed.

Abstract: The System for sealing for variable spaces comprising sealing means (3) for at least partially packing a space (4) between two pieces (1, 2) of a model, characterised in that at least a first piece (1) of the model presents, on its side facing a second piece (2) of the model, at least one recess (5) with a front end (5a) open and a back wall (5b), with the sealing means, comprising an elastic and flexible sealing body (3), being located in the front end (5a), and the back wall (5b) containing a set of spring elements (6, 7) among which are to be found coil springs or elastic strips, at least partially compressed by the sealing body (3) and which push the latter against the surface of the second piece (1b) of the model.

Abstract: System for transmitting pressures between a detachable part (2a,2b) and a fixed part (1) of a model in a wind tunnel, which presents pressure tapping holes (3a-3h) and pressure outlets (5a-5h) in the detachable part connected together by means of internal conduits (4a-4h), and pressure inlets (7a-7h) in the fixed part (1) connected to a pressure measuring module via pressure transmission ducts (8a-8h) and pressure transmission conduits (9a-9h), in such a way that when the two pieces are coupled by coupling means (6), the pressure outlets (5a-5h) are facing the pressure inlets (7a-7h), with a sealing joint 10 existing between them with passage holes (10a-10h), the entire unit permitting the transmission of pressure from the detachable part (2a,2b) to the fixed part (1) without any need for pipes or connectors.
