  • Patent number: 11624904
Abstract: An enclosure surrounding the optical component can be connected with a vapor source. The vapor source can provide a vapor to the enclosure with a vapor level from 500 ppm to 15000 ppm. The concentration of vapor in the enclosure can increase the lifespan of the optical component in the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 9891356
Abstract: A device includes spectral purity filters (SPF) and structures for supporting SPF films. The device further includes a monolithic support having a mesh portion and a frame portion and a film overlaying at least a portion of the support. In some cases, the film can be affixed to the support without an adhesive. The monolithic support can be Silicon, stainless steel or some other suitable material and the film can be a single layer spectral purity filter film or a multilayer spectral purity filter film. The mesh portion of the support can include a plurality of through-holes that are formed by etching and/or eroding a thinned material such as silicon or stainless steel.

  • Publication number: 20060187345
Abstract: Global-adaptive deinterlacing systems and methods for reducing scintillation and feathering artifacts. Motion adaptive deinterlacing (MADI) local motion quantization thresholds are adaptively adjusted according to the amount of global motion present in the video sequence, thereby minimizing scintillation and feathering artifacts when deinterlacing the fields. A set of global motion scenarios are defined for the purpose of classifying fields, and a number of global motion indicators are used to detect on a field-by-field basis different global motion scenarios.

  • Patent number: 5951858
Abstract: A device for cleaning a body of water by passing an elongated net having a C-shaped cross section over the surface and slightly immersed in the water. The elongated net is supported by elongated rigid members that include C-shape brackets that are cooperatively disposed therealong. A rubber band with cooperating slots is positioned over the arcuated plate of the brackets trapping the elongated net in place. An upright wheeled assembly is perpendicularly mounted to the elongated net and includes a mechanism for adjusting the vertical position of the net. The upright wheeled assembly includes a cooperatively positioned handle for imparting motion to the structure.

  • Patent number: 5833833
Abstract: A method of preparing a pyroelectric mixture, especially for pyroelectric and piezoelectric components. At least two compounds are mixed in a prescribed ratio. One compound contains polymerizable and preferably achiral liquid-crystal monomers and the other a preferably achiral liquid-crystal polymer or copolymer. Each compound also contains hydrogen-bridging substituents. The mixture is heated to above its specific vitrification point. An electric field is applied to polymerize the monomer and polarize the mixture. The mixture is cooled to below its specific glass transition point with the field still present.
