Abstract: An opening and closure mechanism for a zipper, the mechanism including a resilient elastic band or strap secured to the zipper handle with opposing ends of the resilient elastic strap being secured to at least one side of the waist band closure, and preferably opposing ends of the resilient elastic strap being secured to opposing sides of the waist band closure such that separating the waist band closure causes the resilient elastic strap to open the zipper closure mechanism by retracting the zipper handle downwardly; and closure of the waist band fastener releases tension on the resilient elastic strap allowing the resilient elastic strap to retract the zipper upwardly to a closed position.

Abstract: A paddle stick for propulsion of a recreational water craft utilizing the arms in an athletic sequence similar to that of cross country skiing, the paddle stick formed of a shaft having an upper handle end and a lower end having a flotation device secured thereabout, the shaft member further extending below the flotation device in a threaded configuration for receipt on the threaded shaft of a biasing means in the form of a coil spring and a threaded stopper cap superimposed over the biasing means to adjust the tension thereon, the lower end of the shaft in pivoting relationship with a paddle shaft angularly displaceable with respect to said handle shaft about said pivot point, said paddle shaft having a plurality of radially outwardly extending paddle blades freely rotatable on the paddle shaft.

Abstract: A body armrest for relieving spinal, back or neck pain, and for providing a three point support for the upper torso combining the spine with a right and left body armrest, the body armrest constructed having a centrally disposed sleeve for the insertable receipt of a waist belt, the centrally disposed sleeve having an upper cradle or platform section extending generally horizontally outwardly therefrom, the cradle or platform section for contact with the individuals elbow and forearm, the sleeve member having depending therefrom, an arcuate contoured leg, the arcuate contoured leg contoured to the arcuate contour of the hip as it extends outwardly from the waist, both the cradle or contoured depending leg may be hingeably secured to the centrally disposed sleeve.
