  • Patent number: 11598504
Abstract: A LED-based lighting assembly uses minimized distance between an LED source and a diffuser to reduce form factor size, and convex optics, elliptical diffusion and lateral recycling to produce from mini- or micro-chip LEDs a uniform geometrical shape for lit-pixel display of information at high definition. A less than one-to-one (1:1) ratio of LED chip distance and vertical distance between chip and diffuser is achieved with desired uniformity of lit-pixel displays. Reduced distance between diffuser and LEDs and an improved optic provide for more dense yet compact configuration of LEDs in lighting components of automobile grilles and emblems and other lit branding or safety devices in commercial and residential applications.

  • Publication number: 20220379254
Abstract: Listed are some of this invention's unique features for producing a healthier home and a safer clothes dryer vent within the same housing system, which may be installed within a typical wall system or as a free-standing unit in a laundry room. Included are two airflow receiving ports that accepts airflow from a clothes dryer or optionally from a house's interior rooms and two airflow exhaust ports that discharge the same airflow into an exhaust pipe to the outside or optionally into the building interior as recycled airflow. A drainage device removes water derived from condensate which forms in the exhaust pipe and otherwise flows back into the housing. Two (2) receiving ports and the two (2) exiting ports combine to provide four (4) combinations of airflow management. The choice of which of the four (4) airflow ports are activated for airflow passage is subject to a selection from a control system which contains switches for the desired airflow management thru the housing.

  • Patent number: 10975516
Abstract: A housing as part of a clothes dryer's gaseous fluid exhaust system containing components for maintaining an open restriction-free airflow channel for maintaining the dryer's efficiency and sized to fit within a typical wall cavity of a building. A removable airflow filter for filtering and removing excess clothes lint, preventing entry of lint particulate into the upper exhaust vent pipe that may block exhaust airflow or blend with down falling condensate, which is generated from a clothes dryer's warm moist exhaust airflow. A diverter constructed to direct the exhaust airflow to a primary exterior location or to a secondary interior location. A condensate drain to separate falling condensate from exhaust airflow and dispose the condensate into an exclusive disposal system.

  • Publication number: 20190054407
Abstract: A housing apparatus, as part of a clothes dryer's gaseous fluid exhaust system containing components for maintaining an open restriction free airflow passageway for maintaining the dryer's efficiency and sized to fit within a typical wall cavity of a building. A means for filtering and removing excess clothes lint, preventing entry of lint particulate into an upper exhaust vent pipe or blend with down falling condensate, both being derived from a clothes dryer's warm moist exhaust airflow. A diverter to direct the exhaust airflow to a primary exterior location or to a secondary interior location. A means to separate falling condensate from exhaust airflow and dispose the condensate into an exclusive disposal destination. The elements of this invention combine to increase the efficiency, longer life and safety of a clothes dryer and its exhaust system by removing lint particulate and separate exhaust airflow from falling condensate within the clothes dryer exhaust system.

  • Patent number: 9605869
Abstract: A radon exhaust system comprising a cylindrical shaped vent housing, diagnostic filter fan housing, inline fan with redirecting vanes, ice filter, observation windows, access opening and closure cap, air flow indicators, water gutter, drain spout and an enlarged elliptical bulge area for additional air passage through the fan housing. The inline fan, located within the elliptical bulge, pumps radon laced air into redirecting vanes, which directs same air through exhaust side and out through expanded exhaust openings of the vent housing. Additionally, redirecting vanes protect the fan from falling ice which may be formed on the ice filter located above the fan. Water is prevented from entering the fan by a water gutter and drain. Observation windows allow visual interior monitoring without entering the fan housing. An access opening with closure cap allows interior maintenance, testing and off venting. These embodiments combine to protect radon systems from damage.

  • Patent number: RE47329
Abstract: An anchor for a carpet tile includes a cross-shaped base having four arms extending from a vertex. The arms form a planar top surface and a planar bottom surface. A vertical blade centered on the base rises to engage the backing of a carpet tile when a corner of the carpet tile is placed near the vertex. The blade is preferably made of bendable and resilient material. Preferably, the anchor is used with a pedestal head of a raised-flooring system and has a nub extending from the bottom surface of each of the arms of the base to fit within holes in the pedestal head and thereby secure the anchor to the pedestal head. An alternative anchor includes a plate for the base and the blade in the shape of a cross rises from the plate. The plate may have a hole in each quadrant defined by the blade.
