    Abstract: A buckle chute folding machine is described which has a single selector knob which selects a variety of fold patterns by simultaneous adjustment of the position of a stop blade in a buckle chute and a deflector bar positionable with respect to a nip roller set to either prevent or allow a second fold to be executed. An automatic paper feed system is provided to feed sheets from a holder tray, each sheet advanced incrementally into the machine to preclude double or overlapped feeding of the sheets through the nip roller sets.

    Abstract: A golf ball carrier is disclosed comprised of an elongated inner carrier sleeve open at either end and slotted for its full length, configured to receive a number of golf balls inserted one at a time into either end and grip the same. The inner carrier sleeve is substantially completely received into an elongated approximately equal length carrier sleeve closed at one end. The golf balls can be removed by being pulled through the slot, after the carrier sleeve is withdrawn from the casing tube sufficiently to expose the ball to be removed.

    Abstract: A stacking receiver is disclosed for collecting and edgewise stacking of a succession of folded sheets exiting a slot on the folding machine, the receiver including an angled wire frame member pivotally mounted to be able to be swung to an up position in which the apex of a corner formed on each of a pair of legs is aligned opposite the slot. The member is spring urged to the up position, and is gradually lowered as successive sheets are fed beneath each other and accumulate in a stack, forced against a confinement section extending up from the corner apex, the sheets in the stack resting on a holder section extending horizontally as the member assumes a full down position. A second member provides an ascending ramp allowing the sheets to descend from the slot onto the holder section.

    Abstract: A golf putting practice target is disclosed comprised of a one hpiece molded plastic target piece adapted to rest on a floor surface. The target requires careful control over the speed of the ball, which must be putted so as to be directed into an intermediate depression formed between the peaks of a gently inclined entrance ramp and a more steeply inclined back ramp, without returning out of the depression because of a too fast putt. The height of the peak of the back ramp is substantially higher than the height of the peak of the entrance ramp so that any slight excess speed of a stroked golf ball will likely result in escape from the intermediate depression by returning past the entrance ramp peak. In a preferred embodiment a strip of carpet covers the entrance ramp, extending from the peak to a point, forward of the target piece to provide a putting approach surface.

    Abstract: A table top buckle chute fold machine is disclosed in which improved and more reliable squaring of the paper to the folding rolls is accomplished by lightly driving an inserted sheet of paper with a friction roller against a selected one of several deflector assemblies. The deflector assemblies each include a deflector member spaced away from the rollers to direct the advancing edge of the paper inwardly so as to be abutted against the back of a recessed guide groove. An intermittently engaged drive roller causes the squared paper to be forcibly advanced against the groove, causing the sheet to buckle and be nipped between another pair of driven nip rollers, forming a first fold at the location determined by the location of the particular deflector assembly activated.
