  • Publication number: 20240328252
Abstract: A motor drive unit for a system for raising and lowering a covering material (e.g., a window treatment system) may be configured to execute a test procedure for determining if the system is spring-balanced properly. The motor drive unit may be powered from at least one battery. The system may comprise one or more lift assistance springs configured to provide variable lift assistance to the motor drive unit for raising and lowering the covering material. During the test procedure, the motor drive unit may be configured to control the covering material between a lowered position and a raised position and determine a magnitude of an input power of the motor drive unit during the movement. The motor drive unit may determine that the system requires more or less lift assistance springs based on the input power, and communicate an indication that the system requires more or less lift assistance springs.

  • Patent number: 9213948
Abstract: A system and method for process data management and organization is provided. An embodiment includes an apparatus for updating a process. The apparatus includes a storage device capable of storing a prospect database. The apparatus is operable to receive a prospect record from the stored prospect database. Once the prospect record is obtained, the apparatus can determine a process stage associated with the prospect record, and identify an available action associated with the stage which can be received from the storage device. The apparatus is operable to trigger the performance of the determined action and receive resulting data. Accordingly, the stage associated with the prospect record can be updated by the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5826529
Abstract: The invention relates to a stabilizing hull for watercraft. The hull comprises a series of sealed, hollow, aluminum tubes. The entire structure is held together with a lightweight aluminum frame. The pontoons are preferably six-inch diameter, aluminum pipes with a circular cross section. However, different materials, different size pipes, or pipes with different cross sections may also be used. The pontoons are arranged in a side by side parallel configuration, with the aluminum frame connected to the top of each pontoon. Each of the pontoons is sealed at both ends and is turned up at one end to form the bow of the hull. The frame supports a planar sheet that acts as the floor of the boat. A load leveler may also be attached to an extension connected to the rear of the frame to improve maneuverability through the water and to increase the load support of the hull. A further embodiment of the hull includes two additional pontoon units on each side of the hull.
