  • Patent number: 7791003
Abstract: An insulated bag has generally flat top and bottom walls connected by foldable back and opposite side walls which cooperate to define a chamber having a front opening for receiving a food product. Flexible closure flaps extend from the bottom wall and opposite side walls and have releasable fasteners for closing the front opening. Each wall has an outer fabric covering and a porous inner liner and also inner and outer layers of flexible thermal insulation material. A vapor barrier film separates the inner and outer layers of insulation material in each wall and provides for moisture absorption by the inner layers. The top and bottom walls each have a compartment with an edge opening closed by a releasable fastener, and a vacuum insulation panel is confined within each compartment. The top and bottom walls move between a collapsed storage position and an expanded position to receive the product.

  • Patent number: 6512211
Abstract: A pouch is provided for use in transporting packaged hot foodstuff such as pizza. The pouch has front and back walls, and a peripheral wall attached to the front and back walls. An induction heating element is retained in a location structure attached to the back wall for induction heating with the pouch positioned on a surface such that the wall carrying the heating element is on the surface. The element is then positioned relative to the surface for efficient induction heating to create a source of heat while the foodstuff is transported.

  • Patent number: 4991640
Abstract: A fastening system is provided that is especially suitable for securing flexible automotive and truck body covers, and in particular tonneau covers, to truck bodies. The system employs cooperating hook and loop type fasteners with a cover member that protects the hook and loop fasteners against weathering, entry of moisture dirt, etc., and also provides an enclosure along the cover edge to prevent peeling separation under the effect of wind whip. The system can also include a locking closure to prevent unauthorized removal of the cover. Preferably a strip of hook and loop fastening material is mounted on a replaceable strip mounted in a channel in an extruded base member which is bonded to the vehicle side upper edges; a resilient layer can be interposed to accomodate irregularities. A second hook and loop strip is fastened to the underside of the cover member which is pivotably attached to the base member.
