  • Publication number: 20070014686
Abstract: A system, device and method for sterilizing or decontaminating an object that by exposing the object to a sterilant gas comprised of one or more oxides of nitrogen, such as NO, NO2, NO3, N2O3, N2O4, N2O5, N2O and mixtures thereof. The source of the sterilant gas can be generated from a sterilant gas-generating composition or provided by a source of the sterilant gas.

  • Patent number: 6299557
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for use in gripping tennis rackets or the like which is of durable construction and which is easy to use, reliable, and efficient in operation. This device assists a tennis player, pro or novice, to maintain a proper grip on the handle of a tennis racket. This device is constructed of a single unitary piece which includes a wristband being attachable together by fastening means such as “Velcro” (a trademark) or other known hook and loop means, and a handle gripping extension which jutaxposes from the center of the wristband and is slidably attachable to the racket handle via a hole or opening on the extension. This device is made of lightweight material and does not add perceptible weight to the tennis racket or to the user's wrist. The user wears the device to improve his game performance without discomfort or interference with his concentration.

  • Patent number: 6237469
Abstract: A gas powered pressureless steam cooker comprises at least one cooking compartment having a steam inlet, at least one steam generator located in close proximity to the cooking compartment, and a connector device means connecting a steam outlet of the steam generator to the steam inlet of the cooking compartment. The steam generator comprises at least one inshot gas burner, and an integrated heat exchanger unit/firebox within a water reservoir, the integrated heat exchanger unit/firebox being in heat exchange relationship with water within the water reservoir to create steam from water. The heat exchanger unit comprises a substantially S-shaped tube having a lower horizontal leg, a middle horizontal leg, an upper horizontal leg, a lower vertical web spacing the lower horizontal leg below the middle horizontal leg, and an upper vertical web spacing the middle horizontal leg below the upper horizontal leg.

  • Patent number: 5818659
Abstract: A digital servo control system for a disk drive provides asynchronous servo information signal demodulation. The system includes a digital demodulator having a digital squarer that removes any phase component of the digitized servo information signal and includes a burst signal accumulator that accumulates the squared terms according to respective burst timing intervals to produce a digital, quadrature position error signal (PES). The demodulator also can include a filter comprising a harmonic notch filter preferably implemented as a Hilbert Transform filter. Alternatively, the demodulator does not include a filter and squarer and, instead, the squarer comprises a sum-and-squarer that sums the squares of odd and even digitized samples. A split burst servo pattern for the servo control system is comprised of half-width transitions that can be written in a single pass of a recording head and therefore has no phase misalignment between adjacent flux patterns.

  • Patent number: 4005882
Abstract: A unitary hose connector made of plastic material and having multiple locking means mounted through the back panel of an automatic washing machine without the use of tools or additional fastening means in either of two locked positions. In the first or "shipping" position the connector is positively locked to the back panel of the machine almost entirely within the machine cabinet. In the second or "installed" position the connector is positively locked to the back panel with an end portion of the connector projecting out of the cabinet to be accessible for coupling with a water inlet hose from an external water source.
