  • Publication number: 20220241334
Abstract: Disclosed are methods of increasing cardiac function in a subject's myocardium comprising: administering a scaffold to the subject's myocardium, wherein the scaffold comprises mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). Disclosed are methods of restoring the mitochondrial proteome in a subject's myocardium comprising: administering a scaffold to the subject's myocardium, wherein the scaffold comprises mesenchymal stem cells. Disclosed are methods of treating hibernating myocardium comprising combining surgical revascularization with attaching a scaffold comprising MSCs to myocardium.

  • Patent number: 8275544
Abstract: A system and method for determining a position of a remote object comprising inertial sensors and three axis magnetic sensor, together with a target sighting device aligned with the observation platform to determine a target line of sight and a target range finder to determine a distance to the target along the line of sight. A GPS receiver may be included for determining an observation platform position and orientation, The three axis magnetic sensor provides both magnetic north and vertical attitude information for improved rapid initialization and operation in motion. Magnetic anomaly information is detected by comparing IMU and magnetic navigation information and by other methods. Target identification may be determined by a human operator and/or by computer. The system may be integrated with a weapon system to use weapon system sights. The system may be networked to provide target location and/or location error information to another identical unit or a command information system.

  • Patent number: 5106272
Abstract: A system for the transport of high solids sludge includes a positive displacement pump for pumping sludge through a pipeline. The volume of sludge transported is accurately measured by determining the fill percentage by using a material flow signal, measured time intervals, hydraulic fluid pressure, or hydraulic fluid flow rate during each pumping cycle.

  • Patent number: 4064494
Abstract: A content addressable memory comprising for each storage element two non-volatile storage devices which can be non-destructively read and which are adapted to respectively store true and inverse information data, the two devices being interconnected in a manner which is such that information data stored by each device can be simultaneously compared with information data applied to the memory, the input of each of the two devices being connected to a separate terminal.
