    Abstract: An adjustable mounting assembly includes (i) a housing with front and rear collars joined by a threaded engagement, the rear collar including teeth oriented toward the front collar, (ii) a front body part extending outwardly through an opening in the front collar, (iii) an intermediate body part coupled to the front body part, and (iv) a rear body part coupled to the intermediate body part, the rear body part including teeth oriented toward the rear collar, the mounting assembly adjustable such that (a) when the threaded engagement is tightened, the teeth of the rear body part are positioned in an interlocking engagement with the teeth of the rear collar, preventing rotation about a pitch axis of the mounting assembly, and (b) when the threaded engagement is loosened, the teeth of the rear body part are disengageable from the teeth of the rear collar, allowing rotation about the pitch axis.

A controller is in communication with the at least one distance sensor and is configured to determine a location of an edge of a region within the plurality of adjacent scan lines. The controller includes a comparator module configured to compare values corresponding to the detected plurality of distances, and an identification module configured to identify the location of the edge of the region according to the compared values. In one example, the values corresponding to the detected plurality of distances include couplets of standard deviations that are analyzed and selected to identify the location of the edge.

The case has two sections connected by a hinge and a closing mechanism which removably joins the two sections together when the case is in a closed position. The two sections each have a rod enclosing cutout which are joined to create an opening that encloses the rod when the case is closed. The circular opening is larger than the shaft of the rod, but smaller than the guides attached to the rod. Since the guides cannot pass through the opening created by joining the two rod enclosing cutouts the case is retained in place when it comes into contact with one of the guides attached to the shaft and is prevented from sliding off the rod.

The method comprises: locating a display interpreter (DI) with a tactile matrix of sensors overlying a display screen; in response to sensing a proximate pointer, accepting a tactile matrix region selection; loading a first reference map, cross-referencing DI tactile matrix regions with a first field of screen icons; loading a second reference map, cross-referencing screen icons with audible recordings identifying the screen icons; mapping a screen icon to the selected tactile matrix region; and, audibly identifying the mapped screen icon. That is, the DI uses the second reference map to cross-reference the located screen icon to the audible recording identifying the screen icon, and plays the recording. In one aspect, the DI can be located over a touchscreen with touchscreen icons. Then, the method may further comprise engaging a touchscreen icon.

The deposited super abrasive on the upper side protrudes from the side of the blade and are ground down to or near the binder metal to plannerize the sides of the saw blade and true and balance the saw blade. Post operations include electro polishing to expose equal amounts of super abrasive on the cutting edge or on all sides. Antifriction particles may be added in the side walls or deposited on the outside.
