  • Publication number: 20220161217
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are described to synthesize gas-filled microbubbles using a continuous flow chamber with a reaction volume and a sonicator positioned therein, by flowing a lipid solution at a first flow rate and gas at a first pressure into the reaction volume while ultrasonically agitating an interface between the lipid solution and the gas in the reaction volume using the sonicator member to generate a solution of gas-filled microbubbles, which solution can be concentrated to obtain a concentrated solution of microbubbles containing at least 23% of the core gas by volume.

  • Publication number: 20190059861
Abstract: Kits and methods are provided for harvesting samples such as cells or tissue including skin tissue for use in research and therapeutic protocols. Kits and methods for deploying grafts, constructs or other products for therapeutic use are also provided. Use of the kits temporarily preserves the viability and/or function of the sample (such as a tissue sample) and/or therapeutic agent.

  • Patent number: 9384202
Abstract: Some implementations may include a gateway module to receive, from a software application, a command to perform an action to a database. The gateway module may translate the command to create a translated command based on configuration data associated with the database. The configuration data may enable the gateway module to determine how to perform the action to the database. The gateway module may determine whether the translated command is valid based on the configuration data. If the translated command is valid, the gateway module may send the translated command to the database. The gateway module may receive a result of performing the translated command from the database. The gateway module may determine, based on the translated command, the result, or both, whether conditions associated with a triggered command are satisfied (e.g., met). If the conditions are satisfied, the gateway module may send the triggered command to the gateway module.

  • Patent number: 4637917
Abstract: A bubble oxygenator for oxygenating blood in an extracorporeal circuit. The oxygenator is formed from three concentric shells which define an oxygenating chamber, a defoaming chamber and an arterial reservoir. The arterial reservoir includes a view chamber which permits visual inspection of the level of blood held in the arterial reservoir. The outer shell which forms the arterial reservoir is rotatable with respect to the remainder of the apparatus so that the view chamber can be easily positioned for observation.
