Abstract: A method and system for providing transmission of a selected media program to a wireless handset includes a source provider, such as a wireless network or a wireless handset, for receiving a transmission from at least one media program provider. At least one wireless handset transmits a request selecting one of the media programs. In response thereto, the source provider simultaneously transmits the selected media program to each of the wireless handsets.

Abstract: A method and a system of a chargeback response tool. A chargeback response tool receives chargeback data from a financial vendor and automatically retrieves chargeback dispute evidence relating to the parties involved in the chargeback and about the original transaction from a transaction system that facilitated the original transaction. The chargeback response tool organizes and presents chargeback dispute evidence. The chargeback response tool may also analyze the performance and effectiveness of agents using the tool and of various approaches of disputing chargebacks.

Abstract: A method and system for processing communication services for a mobile subscriber associated with a wireless network includes a database for storing location-dependent rules associated with at least one communication service subscribed to by the mobile subscriber. Service logic then determines a current location of the mobile subscriber and generates call processing instructions for processing the communication services based on the location-dependent rules and the current location of the mobile subscriber.

Abstract: A method and system for providing preselected information services to a subscriber includes detection of an off-hook condition at a subscriber telephone line and determining the preselected information services for the subscriber. Abstract: A wireless telephone which includes the functionality to operate in a plurality of dialing modes. When a wireless telephone is powered up and in an idle mode, a telephone user has the option of operating the phone in a first dialing mode which simulates the operation of a land line phone and a second dialing mode which is a wireless mode of operation. Either mode may be initiated without requiring any additional steps to be performed by the telephone user. In the first mode, the telephone user may depress a “Talk” button on the keypad of the wireless phone. A dial tone is transmitted through the speaker and at this point a telephone number may be entered through the keypad. After entry of the number and the passing of a timeout period, the telephone number is automatically transmitted to the telephone network in order to establish a telephonic connection. In the second mode, a telephone user begins by entering the telephone number into the memory.

In one embodiment, the method of the present invention includes the steps of receiving an incoming call from a calling party, the incoming call initiated via at least a service code, and receiving a first input from the calling party, the first input corresponding to the first termination telephone number formerly associated with the first person, processing the first input to retrieve a second termination telephone number presently associated with the first person, and routing the incoming call to the first person via the second termination telephone number.
