    Abstract: A saddle type vehicle having a seat frame connected to the rear of a main frame wherein the vehicle body width of a periphery of the seat is suppressed to improve the boarding. The saddle type vehicle includes a head pipe, a main frame extending obliquely downwardly from the head pipe, and a seat frame for supporting a seat. The main frame has a third extension inclined so as to be positioned on the inner side in a widthwise direction toward the rear of the vehicle. The seat frame is connected at a front end portion thereof to the third extension. The seat frame has a first inclination portion inclined so as to be positioned on the inner side in the widthwise direction toward the rear of the vehicle from the front end portion.
