  • Publication number: 20130196088
Abstract: An artificial floral arrangement and method for its production are described. A liner is inserted into a mold container having a continuous inner side wall with a lower edge and a bottom wall. A wrap, such as one or more artificial leaves or other plant components, is wrapped around the container inner side wall, and secured in place by placing an adhesive moldable binder into the container at the interface of the wrap and bottom wall. A floral support, which may be of the same composition as the binder, is placed inside the container, and floral material is inserted into the support. The stand-alone floral arrangement made up of the wrap, binder ring, floral support and floral material, is then removed from the container and the liner stripped away. The floral arrangement can be displayed without a container, reinserted into the mold container, or placed in a different container.

  • Patent number: 6667079
Abstract: A decorative artificial wreath is described that can be easily modified to render the wreath useful for a multiple of seasons. The wreath is formed of a frame with back and front sections that is covered with artificial foliage, and a plant material holder, which may include a perforated cover, inserted between the frame sections at the lower part of the frame. Optional pins extend toward the front of the wreath from the frame to support removeable seasonal objects. Different plant material, artificial and/or natural, can be placed in the holder, and different seasonal objects can be placed on the pins to adapt the wreath to different seasons or occasions, thereby providing an economical alternative to purchasing different wreaths.

  • Patent number: 4017972
Abstract: A device which provides for the positioning, alignment, and holding of dowel pins utilized in the construction of positive molds of a patient's teeth with removeable dies for dental prosthetic and restoration devices, including inlays, crowns, fixed and removeable bridges and precision attachments. The device includes a supporting rack, arch-shaped (as a row of teeth) and constructed of magnetized material, which receives a plurality of magnetizable dowel pin holders which are moveably positionable but firmly retained against the supporting rack. In one embodiment, the dowel pin holders are T-shaped and include a vertically adjustable tensioning means. The dowel pin holders when coupled to the supporting rack are positionable horizontally and vertically above a mold or impression which is received on a separate tray.
