  • Patent number: 10907916
Abstract: A slide block mechanism for a semi-automatic pistol that locks the slide in battery and prevents the slide from reciprocating when the pistol is discharged. The slide block mechanism consists of a pair of aligned notches formed in the bottom edge of the slide and the top of the frame, and a pivoting slide block lever mounted to the frame that selectively seats within either of the aligned notches. The slide block lever can be manually switched to engage and disengage the slide block mechanism and is independent of the fire control and slide stop assemblies. The slide block lever has a protrusion that seats within the slide notch when engaged to prevent the slide from moving rearward and seats within the frame notch when disengaged for allowing normal operation of the slide.

  • Publication number: 20110133494
Abstract: The door lock tool is used for securing closed swinging “push” doors against opening under the application of physical force and includes a hook and a length of braided nylon webbing. The hooks is designed to bite into the sides of the door jams and casings and has a generally J-shaped body which includes a flat back part that curves into a relatively short perpendicular leg part. A flat tooth extends perpendicularly from the hook's leg. One end of the strap is configured to form a loop for securing the strap to a door knob. The other end is laced through an opening in the hook and around a cross bar, which allows the strap to be pulled tight. Pulling the free end of the strap tightens the strap to close the loop and shortens the length of strap between the loop and the hook causing the hook to bite into or under the end of the door jam or casing to secure the door.

  • Publication number: 20100242226
Abstract: A door chock tool is disclosed that can be used to reliably hold a swinging hinged door open or closed regardless of the size and weight of the door or the surface of the floor under the door. The door chock tool is molded or formed as a single unit from a durable, light weight plastic material and has a wedge member extending from the front of a central body and a T-handle extending from the rear of the central body. When the door chock tool is forcefully wedged under a door by a user forcefully kicking the back of the central body, the wedge member and T-handle flex slightly creating a leaf spring effect, which increases the holding force that secures the door in either an open or closed position.

  • Publication number: 20060200964
Abstract: A method of recycling substantially all materials in a major household appliance comprises the steps of placing the appliance on a slip-sheet. Then, the slip-sheet and the appliance are transported along a conveyor system through a plurality of spaced stations. Then various materials are removed from the appliance and stored for recycling or disposal. At least one station has a band saw to saw the appliance into a plurality of pieces. At one station polyurethane foam is removed from the appliance. The removed polyurethane foam is then placed into a bag. The bag containing the polyurethane foam is then sealed, and the sealed bag is then vacuum packed.

  • Patent number: 6657426
Abstract: A micro device programming system is provided which permits fast placement of a plurality of unprogrammed micro devices and fast removal of a plurality of programmed micro devices. The system includes a circuit board having electronic components connected to a backplane having a plurality of backplane contacts thereon electrically connected to the circuit board contacts. The flat surface of the backplane is held in a fixed relationship with the flat surface of the circuit board leaving a space for passage of a tape transporting the micro devices under the backplane. A socket adapter has a predetermined plurality of in line sockets capable of holding the plurality of micro devices over the backplane with the plurality of backplane contacts exposed through the sockets.

  • Patent number: 6535780
Abstract: A programmer system and method of programming programmable micro devices with significantly increased throughput are provided. The programmer system includes a multiple number of sockets for programming a multiple number of micro devices simultaneously. A buffer circuit is also provided which is capable of providing a number of logic levels suitable to drive different micro devices during programming by a programmer system adapted to program a number of micro devices simultaneously. A method for programming a programmable micro device is further provided which uses the standard bus cycle from a processor for programming. Finally, a data compare circuit and a method for verifying data programmed by a programmer in a plurality of programmed micro devices using a single read-back operation is also disclosed.
