    Abstract: A wiper assembly wipes precipitation and debris of a windshield of a motor vehicle. The wiper assembly includes a drive motor fixedly secured to the motor vehicle. The wiper assembly also includes a wiper arm secured to the drive motor. The drive motor pivots the wiper arm across the windshield to clean the windshield. The wiper arm extends between a motor end and a distal end. The wiper arm also includes a separator extending along the wiper arm. The separator lifts the wiper arm away from the windshield allowing for the removal of debris from the windshield and the wiper arm.

    Abstract: An air transfer device for transferring compressed air from a source volume to a recipient volume. The air transfer device is an assembly that includes a hose with couplings at each end to releasably connect to the source and recipient volumes, and has a variable volume flow control valve between the couplings. An air transfer device is also provided with an ergonomic flow control valve having a variety of interchangeable attachments for connecting to inflatable objects. The air transfer device has many applications, including transferring air between vehicle tires by use of air chucks as the couplings on the ends of the hose.

    Abstract: The method of forming a bead 10 having a trailing end 12 of at least one bead wire 14 being anchored in the bead 10. The method including the steps of (i) securing a leading end of the bead wire 14; (ii) winding the bead wire 14 about a former 42 a plurality of revolutions to form the bead 10 into a desired cross-sectional shape; and (iii) cutting the bead wire 14 after a last revolution 28 about the former 42. The method being characterized by (iv) anchoring the trailing end 12 of the bead wire 14 by driving it into the bead 10. The driving of the trailing end 12 forces the trailing end 12 between at least two previously wound, abutting revolutions of the bead wire 14, at least temporarily separating the respective revolutions.

    Abstract: A process for producing a high moisture cream cheese having desirable textural characteristics (i.e., increased firmness) is provided. More specifically, the process of the invention provides a high moisture cream cheese with significantly increased firmness by controlling the moisture levels during the manufacturing process at levels below the final target moisture level of the final cream cheese product; the moisture level of the final composition is then adjusted to the final target moisture level by the addition of water. It has surprisingly been found that control of the moisture levels during the manufacturing process in this manner results in-significantly increased levels of firmness in the final cream cheese product. Indeed, the firmness of the high moisture cream cheese product produced using this method is about 5 to about 20 fold greater than standard cream cheese prepared without such moisture control.

    Abstract: The invention provides a process for making an assembly of self-adhering, pressure sensitive labels wherein a facestock of continuous printable sheet material is first printed and overcoated with a silicone polymer acting as a release agent on its obverse side and is next printed and overcoated with a waterborne, pressure sensitive polymer adhesive on its reverse side, the imprinted and coated sheet material then being assembled into a coiled sheet roll or into a layered stack of selected lengths thereof, such that the first (obverse) side of one length of sheet material is placed in substantially contiguous contact with the opposing second (reverse) side of each subsequently assembled length of sheet material. The resulting label package does not require additional silicone release sheets, and the continuous sheet can be perforated and/or cut during assembly to provide a packaged supply of tear-off labels.

    Abstract: The method for controlling a blowmolding machine during a process of making an object is disclosed. The machine includes a die head, a mandrel and an extruder that rotates and drives a plastic material between the mandrel and the die head to form a plurality of elongated parisons. The method comprises setting the distance between the die head and the mandrel and the rotation speed of the extruder to accomplish predetermined target values of the weight of the object and parison velocity. Plastic material is fed to the machine and the extruder is operated to form the parisons. A parameter related to the viscosity or melt index of the plastic material in the extruder is detected and the material distribution function and the speed of the extruder are adjusted in response to the parameter so that object weight and velocity of the parisons made are maintained substantially at target values.

The computer system is first manufactured having a predetermined set of functional characteristics.     Abstract: This invention relates to a storage and shipping system comprising corrugated containers which house plastic vessels or bottles used to hold fragranced liquid bleaches in which the shipping and storage containers are stacked on top of one another. In the stacks, in all of the shipping and storage containers except for the topmost one, the plastic vessels will share some of the vertical component of the compression load caused by the shipping and storage container directly located above a given shipping and storage container. In a further embodiment of the invention, the problem of surface wetting of blown polyethylene bottles by certain additives in liquid bleach is recognized and addressed. In another embodiment of the invention is provided a stable fragranced bleaching composition. In a still further embodiment of this invention is provided a homogeneous fragrance preblend and a method of making thereof.

This lack of wetting is caused by using as a dispersant for the fragrance, a hydrotrope which does not wet the plastic but stably suspends the fragrance in the bleach.

    Abstract: A dispensing package is provided that includes a liquid container and a drainback spout fitment fitted within a dispensing opening in a finish at the upper end thereof. A measuring cup is threadedly engageable with the fitment and finish to enable closing off of the container. The fitment includes a frustoconical downwardly depending side wall surrounding and spaced from the spout. A drainback channel between the spout and side wall drains back drips to a drain opening and thence into the liquid container. An interlock and centering means is provided between the finish and fitment to center the fitment with respect to the finish to assist the sealing system in preventing leaks as well as to prevent rotation of the fitment when the cup is rotated out of engagement for removal.
