Abstract: Examples provide a temperature-sensitive alert device that monitors temperatures associated with a heating device, such as an oven, stove, or cooktop. The alert device changes the status of the heating device from an off status to an on status if the temperature exceeds a threshold temperature. The alert device initiates an alert if the heating device remains turned on for a period of time which exceeds an expected amount of time. The alert can include an audible sound and/or a visual alert, such as a flashing light. A user can select a snooze function to turn off the alert for an alert delay time without disabling the alert device. When the delay time expires, the alert resumes. The alert device includes a dual component device enabling a first component monitoring a cooktop to synchronize with a second alert device monitoring another heating device, such as a detached oven or stove.

Abstract: A massage handwear system including handwear with outward extending ridges is provided. The handwear may be worn on the hands of the massage therapist while administering a massage. The outward extending ridges are configured in the palm areas, the fingertip areas and/or the thumb areas of the handwear and are usable to apply pressure to the recipient of the massage. On receiving a threat alert from a user, an alert generation component sends an alert notification, including a threat level, to the set of subscribers within an alert zone associated with a source of the threat alert. On receiving an imminent threat alert, a call to an emergency response system is automatically initiated. On receiving a request for access to the emergency data associated with the user from an emergency responder, a unique identifier for one or more emergency responders is checked to determine if the emergency responder is authorized to access the emergency data. If the emergency responder is authorized, access is granted and the emergency data is output to the emergency responder in an anonymous format. A notification of the emergency data access is sent to the user.

The information includes a list of social networking accounts of which each of the users is a member, and a visibility status associated with each of social networking accounts. The main body is defined by a generally cylindrical wall, an aperture and a main body longitudinal axis. The exhaust duct is configured to pass through the wall to terminate inside the main body with an exhaust duct longitudinal axis that is offset from the main body longitudinal axis so that exhaust gasses introduced from the exhaust duct into the main body form a vortex as the gasses progress to the aperture in the main body.
