  • Publication number: 20250235792
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating nonplayer character (NPC) interactions according to player interests are described. One of the methods includes receiving data from one or more user accounts indicative of interest of a player, training a nonplayer character in the game based on the data to output a trained nonplayer character, and determining whether a game state for triggering a communication from the nonplayer character is generated. The method includes controlling the trained nonplayer character to output the communication during the game upon determining that the game state is generated.

  • Patent number: 12299391
Abstract: A natural language understanding (NLU) framework includes a lookup source framework, which enables a lookup source system to be defined having one or more lookup sources. The lookup source system can operate in a number of different manners to facilitate repository-aware inference of user utterances, for example, by facilitating vocabulary injection during compilation of an utterance meaning model and/or an understanding model. Additionally, the lookup source system can be leveraged to cleanse client-specific training data of sensitive values to generate generic training data that can be used to train the NLU framework of other clients. The lookup sources can be compiled in a synchronous or asynchronous manner, which enables lookup sources to be compiled in an on-demand basis from test source data. Additionally, understanding models that reference lookup sources can be periodically recompiled while leveraging the latest versions of the lookup sources for vocabulary injection.

  • Patent number: 12139279
Abstract: A visual inspection posable invertebrate robot (VIPIR) borescope camera system can inspect components in difficult to reach locations. The system enables dexterous robotic inspection of worksites and areas that were heretofore impossible to inspect via extravehicular activities (EVA) and fixed situational awareness cameras. VIPIR may include: (1) a main drive assembly; (2) a reel system; (3) a video borescope assembly (VBA); (4) an enhanced motorized zoom lens (EMZL); (5) a fixed camera assembly (FCA); (6) a support structure; and/or (7) a main electronics box (MEB).

  • Publication number: 20240286026
Abstract: Methods and system for providing assistance to a user during interaction with game content of a video game includes monitoring eye strain indicators of the user as the user is interacting with the game content. Eye strain metrics are computed using the eye strain indicators collected for the user. An action for performing at the video game is identified based on the eye strain metrics. The identified action is forwarded to the video game, which, upon receipt, executes a command to adjust one or more rendering attributes of the game content presented to the user. The adjustment is defined to reduce the eye strain of the user.

  • Patent number: 10282741
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for data distribution in which batch evaluations of aggregate performances of taskset-completing participants conditionally trigger eligibility notifications for upcoming on-chain batch data distributions (of cryptoassets, provenance data, or other on-list content, e.g.).

  • Publication number: 20190073689
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for facilitating decentralized task management by implementing incentivization through tasksets that are staged in sequence (so that an earlier taskset unlocks a latter one, e.g.) and by one or more eligibility notifications that depend upon a party's preferences.

  • Patent number: 9280365
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for managing configuration data. These are particularly directed towards the management of configuration data in disconnected remote devices of a host system. For example, this may be an access control environment having one or more connected access control devices (i.e. devices in communication with a central server), and one or more disconnected access control devices (i.e. devices operating without communication with the central server), the latter being regarded as disconnected remote devices. In overview, the present systems and methods make use of a versioning protocol to allow the reliable distribution of configuration data at the disconnected remote devices, this protocol operating to best ensure the propagation of the most current configuration data.

  • Publication number: 20150223628
Abstract: A portable brewing device includes a container and a top assembly removably attachable to the container. The top assembly is configured to receive a brewing agent and is fluidly connected to the container through a filter. When the device is flipped upside down, liquid can flow from the container body through the filter and into the top assembly. When the beverage has steeped a desired amount, the device can be turned right side up to separate the liquid from any remaining brewing agent. The top assembly can be removed and the beverage is now ready to be drunk from the container. An improved sealing system can be used to prevent leaks, particularly when the device is upside down. In addition, an improved filter system can allow for the quick and proper movement of liquid between the container and top assembly.

  • Patent number: 8419439
Abstract: Illumination provided to the interior of a convex surface can be controlled using a plurality of internal barriers separating light sources such as light emitting diodes. Such controlled illumination can simulate phases of the moon using logic which can be limited to yes or no Boolean decisions, thereby minimizing the complexity of required input.
