Patent number: 10157416Abstract: Methods for generating and sharing a virtual body model of a person, created with a small number of measurements and a single photograph, combined with one or more images of garments. The virtual body model represents a realistic representation of the users body and is used for visualizing photo-realistic fit visualizations of garments, hairstyles, make-up, and/or other accessories. The virtual garments are created from layers based on photographs of real garment from multiple angles. Furthermore the virtual body model is used in multiple embodiments of manual and automatic garment, make-up, and, hairstyle recommendations, such as, from channels, friends, and fashion entities. The virtual body model is sharable for, as example, visualization and comments on looks. Furthermore it is also used for enabling users to buy garments that fit other users, suitable for gifts or similar.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2016Date of Patent: December 18, 2018Assignee: METAIL LIMITEDInventors: Tom Adeyoola, Nick Brown, Nikki Trott, Edward Herbert, Duncan Robertson, Jim Downing, Nick Day, Robert Boland, Tom Boucher, Joe Townsend, Edward Clay, Tom Warren, Anoop Unadkat, Yu Chen

Patent number: 8460509Abstract: A fluid evaporation system includes a housing bounding a fluid reservoir and an air flow path that is disposed over top of the fluid reservoir. The housing has an inlet opening and a spaced apart outlet opening that both provide communication between the outside environment and the air flow path. A fan is positioned to draw the air out of the air flow path through the outlet opening. A baffle projects into the air flow path at a location between inlet opening and the outlet opening so as to constrict the area of the air flow path thereat. A plurality of spray nozzles are positioned within air flow path between the baffle and the first end of the housing. A pump is configured to draw fluid from the reservoir and deliver it to the plurality of spray nozzles.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 2008Date of Patent: June 11, 2013Assignee: Total Water Management, LLCInventors: Janos I. Lakatos, Edward Clay Slade, Clayton R. Carter

Patent number: 8425668Abstract: A fluid evaporation system includes a housing bounding an airflow path. A misting system is positioned within the airflow path for spraying a wastewater into the airflow path. Water in the misted wastewater is evaporated, thereby concentrating minerals in the wastewater. A pretreatment system is positioned upstream from the fluid evaporator. The pretreatment system includes a gas induced separator. Separation of hydrocarbons and water are enhanced using a polymer and/or by lowering the pH of the wastewater.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2010Date of Patent: April 23, 2013Assignee: Total Water Management, LLCInventors: Janos I. Lakatos, Edward Clay Slade, Clayton R. Carter, Christopher Allen Jahn, Neil William Richardson

Patent number: 5918913Abstract: A quick-connect coupling for articulating hose lines includes a coupling body having a bore therein which receives a stem attached to a hose to be coupled to the body. A spline is positioned within the bore which receives a spline on the stem so that the stem does not rotate with respect to the bore and coupling body. A collet is provided which has inwardly and outwardly projecting detents that simultaneously engage both a shoulder within the bore and a groove in the stem to prevent axial movement of the stem with respect to the bore. While the stem is thus retained within the bore, an O-ring seals with the surface of the stem. In order to disconnect the stem from the bore, a collet is pressed inwardly to disengage the detents and then the stem is pulled axially away from the coupling member.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1997Date of Patent: July 6, 1999Assignee: Dana CorporationInventors: Edward Clay Lewis, Darwin Olson
