  • Patent number: 8606768
Abstract: A system is described for providing a configurable adaptor for mediating systems. The system may include a memory, an interface, and a processor. The memory may store an interaction item, a data mapping, data schemas and binary representations of the data schemas. The interface may communicate with a first system, a second system, and a device. The processor may identify the interaction item describing an interaction between the systems. The processor may generate and process a first and second data schema to generate binary representations of the schemas. The processor may generate a data mapping referencing the binary representations to describe a data transformation between the data formats of the first and second systems. The processor may deploy the binary representations, the data mapping, and the interaction item to a device to enable the device to maintain interaction state, and communicate properly formatted messages between the first and second systems.

  • Publication number: 20070265635
Abstract: A hip distractor includes a pair of distractor members and a support configured to be fastened to a surgical table. The support includes at least two mounts for coupling to a pair of joints that couple the distractor members to the support. Another hip distractor includes a pair of distractor assemblies that are configured to apply a distraction load to a patient. Each of the assemblies includes a joint for coupling the corresponding assembly to a surgical table. The joint permits vertical and horizontal angular adjustment of the corresponding assembly. A method of distracting a hip includes coupling a patient's legs to a pair of distractor assemblies and simultaneously adjusting a vertical angle and a horizontal angle of at least one of the distractor assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20070161935
Abstract: An apparatus includes a distractor assembly adapted to couple to a leg and capable of providing a distraction load on the leg in both supine and lateral positions of the leg. The assembly is coupled to a surgical table by a ball joint or a universal joint. A method includes coupling a leg to a distractor assembly, positioning the leg in one of a distraction mode and a femoral acetabular impingement mode, and repositioning the leg in the other of the modes without the need for accessing a draped pelvis/thigh region.

  • Publication number: 20060242765
Abstract: An accessory has a substantially radiolucent frame, a floor-supported base, and a support structure extending between the base and one end of the frame. A second end of the frame is coupleable to a surgical table in a manner that permits the frame to articulate relative to the surgical table. The support structure is extendable and retractable to change the height at which the first end of the frame is supported above the base. The support structures is able to tilt front to rear and side to side relative to the base and the frame is able to tilt front to rear and side to side relative to the support structure. The frame is movable to a compact storage position having the second end of the frame supported on the base. A set of wheels are provided on the base to permit the accessory to be wheeled from one location to another.
